I read that letter. In the letter, they denied ever having such a clause.

Those words speak for themselves. Look them up if you have to.

oh i know they denied it. not saying it's true or false.

i'm just saying , if there is such a clause..... that wouldn't smell right. that would be my misgivings about this controversy. (not the floyd stuff)

that's why the commission needs to take these things over imo.

if the fighters want it , go through the commission and the commission handles the contracts with the testing agencies.

    looks better for everyone.

I think this thread should just be scrapped until something comes out that corroborates the rumor created out of what appears to be nothing more than innuendo at this moment. Until then, it's just dudes like Bazooka being hype-men and making more of this than it is at the moment and talking in circles....

That's it in a nutshell, for those that like to think logically anyway.

Yeah fair point, until we actually see proof of this contract, its just nonsense speculation

Seriously? How many fights have you thought Mayweather would lose? Now how many fights did you think Manny would lose? Answers your question hopefully...

Not saying there is such an exemption clause or if there was one, what the true intent was for it, but maybe one such clause would have proven fruitful in Berto's case. Being that CIR testing uses Mass Spec and analyzes on the atomic level, sensitivity is is robust and things like contamination play a real role. Maybe GBP doesn't lose money on that fight if such an exemption allowed applicable experts to assess and come to the conclusion whether something was more likely than just flat out PED use. Just a thought.

IMO that's where the political and big corruptions come into it. They don't seem to want to have this level of testing and likely because you are then talking about city and state revenue and not just private company.

    maybe.

i mean there could be an exemption (or exemptions) and there could be not.

the exemptions could be very legitimate or they could be fishy.

    don't know.

problem with boxing is it's pretty much dependent on one fight or one fighter per event.

in football , you catch a couple of guys on the team and the game still gets played.

with a boxing event , if a star tests positive , the whole damn thing falls apart.

You don't know what Gab has.......he's got that under lock and key......or he's bluffing. Either way we will find out but to say Gab "exposed" is some silly ****. Gab at this point is asking questions that seem to get some folks all hot and bothered. Why? It's a good question. Golden boy didn't seem to have any issues spreading the Pac rumors that Floyd created but seem to have a bunch of issues if someone openly questions their integrity. Gab will live or die by his own sword......don't speak out prematurely if you don't know what cards he's holding. Just something to think about.
