So you're saying the alphabet trinkets are a deciding factor now. Floyd among most of the other world elite fighters have said on numerous occasion "titles don't mean **** in this day and age."

moving up and winning a title is very impressive.manny is fighting someone who isnt a 147 fighter and never won anything at 147

I understand, but he won the fight fair. He's still the #1 p4p fighter and whoever wants to dethrone him, while fighting at his weightclass, needs to beat him before he drops himself off the rankings.

Pac gat to definitely make it up for the JMM III fight and that is no less than a win inside the distance but even so I doubt he will be able to surpass Floyd. Good that it was pac that led Floyd to fight Shane, the winner of Ortiz/Berto and Cotto. Backstage war for the purse split.

I'm not name calling, that's how you are debating right now. Someone makes a valid point then you reply with some silly rationalization. Could you offer more of a explanation for why you feel the way you do rather than taking someones post and replying by offering the same thing in response.

Yes it is. And Pacquiao has done just that more than anybody in the history of the sport. And has never actually lost a fight to lose the number 1 ranking. So why are you so eager to see the spot taken from Pacquiao, while making it hard for him to get it back?

yeah pretty much the JMM fight took some luster off pac, but he can easily get it back by winning impressively against a younger, undefeated opponent who is also P4P territory.

A p4p number doesn't lose his spot until he is beaten
