I think well deserved induction. The Hall got it right on this one. Hard to believe that enough years have gone by that all of the fab 4 and fab 5 if you include Benitez, made it into the Hall of Fame.

A fighter who brought both talent and heart into the ring. A nobrainer for the Hall.

I didn't like him back in the day because he had become the arch-enemy of my guy, Hagler. In time though, I began to realize what he had truly been all along; a ballsy fighter unafraid to fight the very best, and one who relished the challenge, win or lose. So very lacking with today's coddled "superstars."

He may have lost the odd fight now and again, but until he got real old, you'd have to go through hell to take him.

and the fact is the Hearns fight really helps Marvin Hagler's legacy and proved what a warrior and committed champion Marvin was. Not many guys would have done what Marvin did and fought that way and many champions couldn't have done it. It is seen as the one of the greatest fights in activity and will and gutsy tactics a champion has had to use to win a fight. Marvin put his all mentally and physically into going for it and taking Hearns right and he earned his place in middleweight history. Marvin to that point had not fought that fast to start a round one. He knew what he had to do and I saw an interview Hearns did 15 years ago where he said the reason he respects Marvin so much is because he knew what Marvin had to go through to win that fight and how much guts and determination he had.

One truly great fighter, and a man who participated and gave the fans so many memorable and thrilling fights - fights not just limited to Hagler and Leonard, but also with Barkley,Roldan,Kinchen and Delgado. His vulnerability, devastating power and willingness to fight always made for compelling viewing.I can only imagine what it must have felt to have watched him live.

I've always loved watching him box and utilize how physical dimensions just as much as the wars, though. There's just something really aesthetically-pleasing about watching him glide around the ring, snapping out that jab and digging in those vicious looking left hooks to the ribs.

Very much a fan-friendly type of fighter.

Great to see my favourite fighter getting the recognition he deserves. Just finished reading his biography - Hitman: The Thomas Hearns story. Good read, would recommend it to Thomas Hearns fans. Would be great to see Tommy stay in the game in a coaching capacity

Seems crazy that he's just getting inducted now but them's the rules. Like has been said a no-brainer.

Even though Hagler was my hero Hearns was always a favourite too. Love the Hitman, top guy, helluva fighter.
