I didn't think he looked too bad. . . He was moreso practicing staying on the inside than anything else. . . He "fought down" to his level of competition.


He said next fight he wants somebody good, so we'll see for sure. . . If he's that far gone, he should get beat by a guy like Edwin Rodriguez, who I think would be an exellent choice for his next opponent.

 

I don't think so my good man! It won't be a champion, or a dangerous up and comer like Thomas Oozy, Adonis Stevenson, or Andre Dirrell.

He'll fight one of these guys next: Edwin Rodriguez, Donovan George, Glen Johnson, Sakio Bika, Brian Magee.

In fact, I think Rodriguez is handmade for Pavlik. . . Nothing special about him - doesn't have a huge punch, doesn't have fast hands. . . No fast feet and lateral movement. . .

He's just your basic boxer/puncher. . . Pavlik pretty much does everything he does, but better. . .

Right now he's recovering from a motorcycle accident, and he'll be out for at least 8 months, probably closer to a year. . . But I don't think Pavlik would want to fight him for his next fight. . He's got that style that can give Kelly nightmares, adn he's actually got the power to stop Kelly.
