So Café, my good man, if Pavlik/Rodriguez is next, which I think it will be, you want to do an avatar bet? one month, avatar of our choice?
That would be a good next step . . . But I think he should step it up a notch ,and go for a guy with full confidence, and coming off a win like Bika. . Andrade is shot to ****. . . He's handmade for Pavlik, and won't do much for him. . . But I'd definitely be down if that's who he picks next. I still think Edwin Rodriguez is the next best opponent if he really wants to see where he stands. . . An 85% Pavlik SHOULD be able to outpoint him without much trouble.
He looked fine to me. He had a game opponent in his chest all night trying to survive, it was obvious a win for Cujo was just to survive. However Pavlik managed to beat the **** out of him still round after round. Cujo was a bloody mess, Pavlik looked untouched. What else can he do? He was in shape and he won convincingly, exactly what he was supposed to do.
To me, he did not look TERRIBLE, but he didn't look very good either. He just got hit with way too many punches
Lol u guys really think that Edwin Rodriguez would beat pavlik and those other so called. It names can too lol...pavlik is not a one punch ko artist...his jab and consistent volume of punches is what makes him...he would eat Edwin for bfast...he would wear down bute and probably stop him and I think a fight between him and froch is a toss up...remember he wore down Miranda before he ko him and he wore down Taylor before koing him ...u dudes must've forgot....
Last night he looked good trying out different punching angles and techniques...his body work looked improved and he may have missed the right hand on occasion but the dude he was fighting was about 5 inches shorter and on the defensive all night...really Edwin Rodriguez lol
I would not put much into how he looked last night. It was like a cat playing with a mouse. Pavlik did not get hit hard and he slowly butchered the guy in front of him. A guy that was running his mouth.
I liked how Pavlik looked, healthy and relaxed in the ring. If Sigmon had opened up more he would've been taken out sooner. Rodriguez would be a good opponent, but Dibella won't give him up without a decent offer. Andre Dirrell might be ripe for the taking. Dre's been off a long time and it's hard to say how effected he still is from his injury. A big win over him would create a lot of buzz for Pavlik.
:smoke he is the middleweight JERRY COONEY and HOP was his HOLMES . Both guys were finshed early because of booze and drug problems . and both guys would have been long standing champs and something special if they hadn't self destructed .
