Pavlik looked atrocious last night!

The second round was one sided and I think after that, he decided to play around with Sigmon to try new things out and improve his game. He was willing to fight up close in particular. If that is the case, there is no problem with that. If he was struggling, then it's a very bad sign but I don't think he was, he was just looking to add more to his all round game.

I like the way he's fighting at this stage of his career. He's trying new things which is good.

 

Didn't see this fight, I know Pavlik has power... was Sigmon hanging with him before the stoppage?

I've seen a little of Sigmon's fights, if he technically hung with Pavlik, then Pavlik is more on the decline than I thought he was.

 

I thought that Pavlik looked back to his old self.

He has looked bad for several fights even with mediocre opposition. I thought he looked much better yesterday and for the first time in a long time I believe that he (at least for a while) has quit the booze.

 

No Sigmon was not hanging with him in the least. Was a one sided beat down. Pavlik put a lot of hurt on Sigmon, no doubt he will be feeling it for some time.

It was not as competitive as the Espino fight, put it that way. Pavlik was not trying to get him out of there imo. He was giving Sigmon the long hard ride.

My Damn dvr stopped recording after the 6th round! I was pissed, but how did he look past that? More of the same or did anything significant happen?

 

Dude was disrespecting Kelly over twitter and Kelly promised to punish him thats what he did, Kelly did not load up on a single shot last night, Kelly did not follow up when he got him hurt on purpose he wanted to punish this kid.

take some pop of the shots you already know he is out classed, so bust him the **** up make him feel everything, and thats what happened. Kelly could have loaded up and finished him right there but instead he put in some rounds, punished this kid for the **** he said on Twitter and work on specifics he needed to.

Dunkin said he had calls from representatives for Froch, Bute and Kessler last week looking to make fights. Just started a thread with the link. We may see very soon where Kelly fits into the SMW division. Talk of 160 is gone.

 

He was landing his right hand quite a bit the 7th round and it was getting messy. Even Pavlik had blood all over him. Was stoped after that round.

Pavlik beat the **** out of this kid, he didn't "hang" with Kelly at all, he just had a good chin and took some wicked shots.

 

The fight was just Like Jermain Taylor vs Jessie Nicklow. A Punching bag. Sigmon is tough.
