I haven't found many updates online. I managed to find this, not sure if it's a credible source or not...

“I feel the love and support from everyone and it’s overwhelming, I am very thankful to all of my fans and friends who have rallied around me in a time when I need them the most”. Williams asks that all future letters and cards please be sent to: 3060 Will Rogers Place, Atlanta 30316.

    Thanks for posting.

Epic war between Martinez & Williams, great stuff!

That sums up Williams, win lose or draw his opponent would have to put work in, they would get drawn into a dogfight whether they liked it or not.

    :good

most feared man vs most feared mandatory
great fight good performance by both but just crazy workrate.

if anything. i felt that margo most likely turned to plaster after this fight, with the johnson early blowout. due to his best asset i.e. tall and throw alot of punches against a guy who was nearing 6'2and a bit who threw twice as much from a southpaw position. so tony needed another sort of specialty. whatever. great fight, great win.

legend. got pushed into odd fights and in the big blue of who he could fight. why was he put near pavlik? why did he fight back at welter. why didnt he stay at 154. it's a shame we will never see another

anyone have that gif of the left uppercut under his right arm:lol::lol:

I honestly didn't even like the guy at first. I kept waiting for his lanky chin to get cracked (obviously well before Martinez) and it never happened, was disappointed.

I don't like bigger fighters picking on perceived smaller guys, but then realized after a couple of fights that his size had nothing to do with his success. He had unbelievable mental focus and heart and pain tolerance to be able to keep throwing volume while getting blasted, a common strategy used by opponents since they had no chance in hell of out boxing him straight up, needed a KO. It's almost like the guy can't be hurt, yeah sure Martinez shut his lights off but that is pretty much what you need to do to stop the guy because as long as his CPU is working, you're in for a rough fight with him.

That is what made me take notice of the guy, he kept proving me wrong and winning using his style and eventually I gave up and said "screw it, i'm on board, I'm done going against this guy."

Once I got onboard the Punisher Express, that is when I really started to dig deeper into his background and personality. Was surprised that his attitude was not like his fighting style or boxing nickname, he wasn't a sadistic person that wanted to hurt people, he just turned that way once the bell rang. He was a pretty humble guy that simply enjoyed testing his opponent and himself. The things that I look for in a fighter are character, respect, iron willpower and determination. I like fighters that inspire me to work harder in my own personal life and he sure did that.
