he's a heavy hitter with a good chin and absolutely no defense

but hey, he brings excitement to his fights, even if he is somewhat limited

I'd love to see him and Arreola go at it

Im in. when is his next fight? I like how he came to the states to fight.

and he is kinda slow and has poor D but I think he is packing an iron chin also. The man is a wrecking machine

Next up is Maurice Byarm, the fellow who lost a UD to Bryant Jennings on NBC Sports Fight Night.

Fight will be on ESPN2 July 6th FNF

I like the guy but he has faced terrible opposition. He's strong but other than that I don't see much skill at the moment. I think Maurice Byarm will knock him out in 7 rounds.

Mago lives in America now. He likes it. He's fighting the tough American Maurice Byarm on Friday Night Fights this July 6. Byarm is his best opponent yet.
Byarm's last fight was a points loss to top American prospect Bryant Jennings. Byarm can box and punch so it's a big test for Magomed.

I've seen you rag on him before. respect, you stick to your guns, but, can you at least admit that he brings excitement to a heavyweight division, and especially, an american heavyweight scene, in desperate need of it?

I disagree. Americans have good HWs again. Obviously Seth Mitchell is still there but we have Bryant Jennings who TKO'd a former champ and won every round. We have Kevin Johnson who is about to win the Heavyweight tournament very soon. There is a guy who is pretty decent named Tor Hamer from my neighborhood. Then we have the still unproven Deontay Wilder.
Arreola is fighting Wlad in September,Chambers is still gonna be good win lose or draw with Adamek so we are in good shape.

Plus,Maurice Byarm has a good shot to beat Magomed in July. If he does it,enter him in as an official American prospect. I think Byarm will give Magomed his first loss. TKO7

Nah, zero excitement. He's about as exciting as Arthur Abraham, for many of the same reasons.

I mean, great, kayos are very nice...but when every moment leading up to them is :dead - I'd much rather see fights that go the distance but produce constant thrills.

I'm in too! Big fan of Mago he's crude but brings excitement to a mostly boring division.

Why do people think this???!

A guy who knocks out low level opponents? That's exciting? We get one of those (more than one) every year!!!

There's always a "next big exciting knockout artist" in the pipelines at heavyweight...and they ALWAYS go bust.

Ray Austin, TOS, Bermane Stiverne, Arreola, Walker, Aguilera, et cetera et cetera

There is always a guy who knocks out low level guys, everybody gets excited prematurely, and it always winds up disappointing.

I can tell you RIGHT NOW that Abdusallamov will end his career having accomplished less than any of those mentioned above.
