It's not about aesthetics, it's about maximising the nervous system to recruit as much of what you have as possible, to complement your sports specific training. It's about enhancing an athlete, nothing to do with how they look. In a sport like boxing you don't want to pack on lots of muscle because you have a weight division, you need to improve their strength to weight ratio. As I said it's about improving their ability to recruit the muscle they already have and maximising their ability to use the stretch reflex and stored elastic energy in their tendons to produce the most powerful movements possible. This contributes a little bit, the meat of their work is going to be sparring, pads, bag work and fine-tuning technique/strategies.
That's it, you want to have a good feel for the technique before you increase the load. Video yourself from different angles and look at the path of the bar and where the weight is on your body. I forgot to mention that if you're doing low bar squats you might need to have flexible shoulders, if it's uncomfortable you'll probably have to do high bar squats at first.
Yeah Bruno was built like a tank....and still is.....this is a recent pic......almost 51 years old This content is protected ...AND STILL HAS A BODY MOST HEAVYWEIGHTS WOULD DIE FOR
Ok, cool story bro! Muscles don't win fights... Bradley is a good young fighter but he's ****ing with a Boxing God tonight! :deal
The olympic lifts you'll especially have to focus on technique, they are more technique/skill than anything else. When you realise how complicated and quick they are you'll gain massive respect for the guys throwing up huge weight at the olympics :good
He dont have to out slug pac, and we know Manny can be out slicked you will see tonight you will also see Bradley crack an un suspecting Manny and you will then see in the eyes of Pooohciao that Bradley has a bit more pop then was expected....
Keep telling people.. 147 is Bradley's natural weight, not 140. Been killing himself to make 140 for years. As an amateur he was often in the ring at 155, 156. The weight suits his body.
I know he fought Vanes in the Amateurs and in fact he turned pro his first couple of fights he weighed 145. And to be honest I never really connected the Dots, the kid fought Vanes in the Ams, and Vanes is no skinny dude. Knowing this obviously he is the bigger guy between the two, this should be good Pac is in for a surprise :good
