Well, he was more or less Born Again with his tour of beating up on other guys leftovers, Margarito, Mosley, Hatton, etc...All guys coming off getting dominated in their last significant fights. Previous to this people put in perspective that he was good but couldn't beat Marquez convincingly in their rematch. After he beat up guys who were basically retired and fighting for a paycheck, as all three of these guys have retired, two recently they said he was PFP #1....again. Basically Bradley is the best guy he's fought since he fought Clottey, so it's a no-brainer after this fight people will see him for what he is, exciting but flawed. Bradley ain't no paper pusher, he's coming from Manny with his fits, his head, everything. Manny can punch but Bradley is hard to find so the outcome is obvious. Even if he gets dropped early, like against Holt, he can come back. But due to that experience I don't see him getting careless and getting dropped. So he WILL be exposed AGAIN.:hi:
Its silly to say that Pac only won because one fighter lost to another. Pac won because he stylistically was a problem for them as well as being a better fighter then them at the time. Pac struggled with Marquez because stylstically Marquez will always pose problems for him as Marquez would anyone around his weight range due to his IQ and skills. If Bradley wins its because he poses stylistic problems. Pac beat on guys with his superior hand speed and foot speed to go along with real powerHe always relied or had the trump card of being the best athlete in the ring. . Bradley will be the fastest and most atheltic fighter that Pac has faced in his career. So it will be a great test for Pac to see how he deals with an opponent with hand speed and reflexes, and athletic ability of his own. But also pretty good technical ability. So it comes down to can Bradley use his athletic ability and technical skills to nullify Pac's or will Pac prove to be superior in that aspect land and hurt Bradley enough secure the win or even put him away. Why this fight is so intriging.
Manny isn't going to look awful three performances in a row. Expect him to be more offensive minded and composed as he's not dealing with a guy in survival who can't pull the trigger and just turns him all night(Mosley) or a rival he never looked great against(JMM). Bradley is too eager and reckless to truly beat Manny whether he deserves the decision or not but anything can happen. Hoping for an 8-11 rds tko for Manny but primarily just wanna see a good scrap.
Good post. It's laughable that Pac is considered exposed because of a close fight against a fighter whom he's always struggled with. The funny thing is JMM also struggles with Pac.....as all their fights have been extremely close where JMM usually dominates his opposition. When we get fans only having the ability to "see what they want to see" we tend to get these ridiculous claims of great fighters who are all the sudden "exposed".:yep
Arum wouldn't have made this fight if he thought manny could lose. Worst case scenario: Bradley makes it a close fight. if this happens, the judges will bail Manny out.
I believe it was the socks along with Ariza telling him prior to the fight to drink evian rather than tap water, with all it's immunie strengthening bacteria, that resulted in him getting dropped by a jab.
Horrendous post. I am not a believer of all fighters being ruined after losses or stoppage losses so that section is irrelevant. I judge fighters by how they fight on the night, not their recent wins or losses. Margarito looked very good when he fought Pacquiao and Hatton looked great against Malignaggi and was undefeated at 140. Mosley did not look good but I still gave him a puncher's chance. That section of your post is moot. Next, how can you be exposed twice? atsch :roll:
