    Think about this:

1: Pac loses a unanimous UD.

2: After the decision, we all see & hear Uncle Bob telling Pac, "It's just business."

3: All of Uncle bob's friends collect their massive winnings. The judges are soon seen riding around in new Lamborghinis.

4: Arum immediately schedules Pac-Bradley II. "The fight for it all."

Imagine the PPV numbers on that second fight!

5: Pac destroys Bradley in the rematch, takes his 100 mil, and retires.

6: Arum now pushes Bradley as his new cash cow, using the patented "Chavez JR" method.

    It's genius, I tell you.

    Yep.

The only way to seriously boost PPV sales is if Pac actually LOSES once. That's the whole point.

That is the worst point I have ever heard in my life.

Manny wants the Jr fight, he has to keep winning and Arum has to keep making him win to make money from that megafight.

OK, not relly, but consider: There is no guarantee that Jr. won't lose to Andy Lee (unless Lee has been paid off, which is certainly possible.)
Why would Arum bet everything on Jr. winning? It's much safer to just arrange for Bradley to win.

After that, all the average fight-watcher knows is that Bradley beat the great Pacman. Bradley must be amazing! Bring on the re-match!

Even if Jr. beats Lee, TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC (where the PPV dollars are) he is basically unknown.
    - but the guy who just beat Pac? He's an instant superstar.

    ---------

And Bob Arum 'aint no fool.
