everyone has flaws kid...just because your a boxer, with a fan base doesnt make them super human....and who are "my heroes" little guy? I don't really consider this a "discussion" per say... I'm just really interested in your interesting thought process.:yep
Of course....just as much as I believe in science and the dynamics of those with real power vs those who have decent power.....the effects are vastly different between the two....just as there are with guys who have a glass jaw and those who have iron chins.

I'm not doubting Bailey's power, but you need to realise, Bailey has major stamina issues. He's 37 years old and a front runner. Jones was SCARED to throw punches at an OLD man for 10 rounds, as soon as one punch lands clean he is DOWN and has 0 legs. Next round starts, he seems okay, legs a bit shaky but if he survives this round and the next he's won a UD and a championship. Knowing that he chooses to focus on defense and he STILL gets that chin SHATTERED by one punch from a gassed 37 year old has been. This is why he has a glass chin. Had he taken several shots through the fight or even got dropped from a few combo's late, I wouldn't consider his chin that bad. As it stands, his chin is absolutely ****ing awful.
I think that was a comment in reference to how rarely Jones fights. First time this year, fought twice in 2011 and he's not even won a title. Maybe he thinks fighting less will lower the chances of getting that chin checked.
Why? Human nature.....Jones knew Bailey's reputation as a big puncher.....Jones took a risk accepting the smaller gloves...maybe as a tactic for pre fight mental warfare....Jones wanted to send a message to Bailey letting him know he wasn't afraid.....it was a gamble that didn't pay off. Jones felt the power early on and fought a cautious fight.....
He fought that way before even being hit. He fights like that in every fight. His chin... it's not good.
I think Randall Bailey was also aware that he was on 37 yr old legs as well....Bailey was very, VERY conservative with his punch out put.....maybe a strategy for an older vet who knew his best shot at winning would be to land a big shot?:|
