Now understand, there's even more to Arum's evil genius than I described, above. PPV gets an additional boost from this obvious controversy. As the internet explodes with angry posts, those who chose NOT to buy the PPV are going to be kicking themselves, because most of them won't be able to join in the heated discussion for another week. "Yes, folks, buy PPV so that you won't have to wait an entire week to voice your disgust at yet another bogus decision!" It's absolutely brilliant marketing.
excellent prediction. I NEVER saw this coming, & this is coming from someone who knows this is a business. Initially, I was wondering why they would give this to Bradley More PPV sales Rematch (already got the story line) This loss does not really hurt Pac anyway, so it doesn't hurt a potential Mayweather fight
Me and my friend actually discussed this last week as a possibility of a Bradley decision... guess we were right as we were pondering the outcomes... we thought it was a possibility but never thought it would actually occur.
Hope Pac leaves Arum and beat the **** outta Bradley in a rematch.. or just retire. Pac doesnt seem to have the fire already.
Right so I'm kinda with it now, I was baffled at first as to why Arum would do this. The only thing I could see was to avoid Floyd but he's been doing that for years without anything as drastic as this. Do people seriously believe that the PPV will do better the second time around? Anyone with any ounce of sense should think why the **** am I paying for a rematch when it's bull**** anyway.
Spot on... Arum wanted the rematch in November to milk pacquaio as much as possible and keep the money in house with bradley as the opponent... when was the last time pacquaio fought a fighter not with top rank?
Oddly enough I had this conversation with a friend but we were just joking...it's insane that something like this could actually happen though, it's like a WWE storyline! Arum is the worst thing to ever happen in boxing.
