I lost all faith in Boxing last night (what little I had left).

The entire sport of Boxing needs an intervention. It needs a hostile takeover. Everyone involved in managing the sport needs to go. I mean a complete and thorough house-cleaning (of course we know this will not happen).

No one in charge gives a **** about the sport. Last night was a perfect example of why fans have moved to MMA. At least MMA is real. The fighters will actually fight. There is a single governing structure and good leadership that cares about the well-being sport.

I had been watching sports all day and damn near turned it off because I didn't really need to hear the judges declare the winner, right? It was obvious who won, right?

Wrong. I seriously can't decide if the decision was some conspiracy or if the judges are actually that damn stupid.

Part of me is leaning towards the latter. I have such little faith in the sport that I think the 3 most important people that watched the fight barely have a clue as to what they are watching.

I think they get their jobs because of their connections or because they are corruptible or both.

You would literally have to not understand what you seeing last night to judge the fight the way they did.

Either that or they were completely manipulated by outside influences.

Either way, I've thrown in the towel with the sport. Drastic and immediate measures need to be taken to save the sport that we care about. Thank God I only paid $5 to watch that. I honestly feel sorry for the ones that paid up to $65.

Boxing lost big last night. And with the current structure, I don't see a comeback.

    **** off, I could give a **** about Pac.

First JMM, now this. It isn't even a sport anymore. The boxers are pawns.

Are fight-fans this simplistic now? Can we not have a decent discussion anymore without the ghey-ass labeling and name-calling?

Its fans like this that makes the sport hopelessly wallow and sink in the muck deeper by the day...

Alright calm down. It was a slight nod to Bradley. There will be a rematch and that's that.
The Judges saw a different fight. Everyone thinks it's a robbery because there are more Pac fans. Bradley fought very well.

"Can you believe that? Unbelievable," Arum said. "I went over to Bradley before the decision and he said, `I tried hard but I couldn't beat the guy.' " -ESPN-

How some people can call themselves "boxing fans" I don't know. If you were a true boxing fan you wouldn't say stuff like 'I lost faith in the sport."

probably why topic creator is annoyed. if this was boxing's answer to fans , the sport would dissolve into nothing.

I don't believe in Santa Clause any more.

Sadly, my chances of ever seeing a fat man with a big white beard come down my chimney, are actually BETTER than my chances of seeing boxing become legit, within my lifetime.
