It was my favorite fight of the night to be honest. Great performance. However, it was to be expected. The fight was a mismatch. IMO, Rigo needs to fight anyone and everyone willing. He's no kid, the clock is ticking. Even if it's just guys like Vazquez etc, clean up the division and FORCE the top dogs to fight you. If they don't, move up and fight Gamboa in a Cuba-Cuba match up.

He has a small face, but he is a ****ing animal in the ring. One of my favorite fighters today. Needs to fight more so I can ****ing rank him p4p though.

Heard Arce may be next. Solid fight vs. a super-experienced future HOF-er followed by Donaire/Mares, would be a dream 8 months for Rigo.

Like I said in another post, im just amazed and still thinking of his masterful performance last night. I feel sorry for Kennedy, it's a beaten than will change a fighters life forever and career. Worst than being KO in some ways in my opinion.

It never missed and every time it landed Kennedy's legs buckled. Went down in rounds 1, 4, 5 and twice in round 2. I predicted a KO4. It got to the fourth round and there were 20 seconds left. Kennedy went down pretty hard but bet the count and made it to the next round.

Even though it was a mismatch, Kennedy has good recovery skills and heart.

Arce needs to rematch that kid from last night, which was shaping into a classic bout and it was only the first round.

You think that was a life changing beating? I thought it was a damn good stoppage tbh, Kennedy keeps getting up, that's for sure. I wouldn't be surprised if he continues to have an average career after this tbh :)

Rigo is a great boxer in terms of skillset, up there with the likes of mayweather, ward and marquez, but he will never have a fanbase imo. He likes to place his punches so perfectly that unless the perfect moment comes he is content to stand in front of his opponent and wait. This makes him frustrating and often boring to watch imho.

I have so much respect for what he has done in boxing both as an am and as a pro, but he needs to realise that its not just about winning anymore, its about entertaining too. Until he can open up more and create punching opportunities for himself then the likes of donaire have no reason to fight him - he's the very definition of high risk/low reward. Even if donaire were to fight and beat rigo he would get little to no credit outside of hardcore boxing fans because nobody knows who rigo is.
