You give me a choice between having Jesus in my corner, or a split second to throw a knock out shot, I'll take the second.

bradley did very little effective work, and pacquiao absolutely dominated the fight. his power, DID, trounce bradley's power. when bradley got the better of the compubox, it was only because of manny taking his foot off the pedal. bradley did very little to merit praise from the commentators, let alone the win, and pacquiao has proven time and time again, in and out of the ring, why he is the more compelling figure. it's totally understandable that lampley and the crew would focus overwhelmingly on pacquiao.

Ok, I'll take those on board.

Can you explain to me however, why in several times during the fight Bradley landed clean scoring shots and the commentators were completely silent?

For me, there is no answer to that other than blatant bias.

    The commentating was disgraceful.

Lampley should be embarrassed calling Ledderman the best JUDGE around.

    Stewart was confused.

Kellerman knew whats up, but needs to promote who he's told to.

Its without question. Even if they exchanged punches and Bradley's was better, HBO would go on about Pac's punch.

They did it in the damn Marquez fight.

Casual fans, and frankly, others who have no idea what the hell they are seeing, are very heavily influenced by what they hear from what they presume are experts. HBO obviously knows and exploits this to suit their own agenda, which will always be the guy who makes them the most money.

It has got worse in recent years as previously guys like Jones and Mayweather were not exempt from critsism.

He said Ledderman is the best judge ALIVE.

(I capitalized it, cause that's how Jim said it )

The way i see it, these guys are commentators, paid to commentate on the action.

So if Bradley lands a punch or a combination of punches, they should mention it. that is their job!

Yet time and time again they failed to do so.

Jim must have had some seriously heavy money on Pac Man or something, the way he was acting at the end of the show.

I really dont remember that. I dont think it happened enough to be able to definitively use it as evidence of any bias, whatsoever. In fact, I remember the commentators praising bradley's will in the face of the pacquiao onslaught at times, as well as calling the blows he scored, not all of them, but you cant expect that. they didn't call every last pacquiao blow either. furthermore, it makes perfect sense, to me at least, that they would report on the blows manny landed, because they were clear as day.

I also noticed on several occasions that if Bradley landed a good shot, and Manny attempted to counter as long as he came close or landed a glancing shot Lampley and co. gave Pacquiao praise while not even mentioning Bradley.

They were really just as bad as the announce crew from the Mayweather vs Cotto fight. Just shameless knob slobbing, Manny and Floyd both might as well just fight scrubs, because that's how HBO and company's announce teams treat their opponents.
