Rgardless of the decision, let's be honest about this.

As Mario Lopez pointed out, Pac 4 years ago had non-stop movement, foot, head and everything else.

As we saw from this and the previous fight, he seemed to have lost some movement and allowed an opponent to at least fire back even iof it's not landing.

What made him so effective was his ability to attack in a fast and powerful flurry that opponents has no time to regroup, and if they did he'd be a foot away bouncing out, then bounce in again and fire another flurry.

Now, he fires a flurry, then block while stationary.

I'm not sure, it maybe age, or his physical gifts are starting to fade, but he doesn't motor around the ring anymore the way he usually does.

Seems this is indeed the last year for Pacman.

He has better defense. He doesn't get tagged as much. There are sacrifices.

Yeah he does, but i think it's better to evade it than to block it. Gives the impression that it hits.

That's a weakness of Roaches coaching. Amir has the same problem.

Seems like we got both a fighting and training career nearing a glorious end.

Pacquiao's clearly declining. It was obvious from the opening bell. It's actually been obvious since the Margarito fight. But his style was never conducive to longevity into the mid 30s. His athleticism (handspeed and footspeed) isn't what it used to be, and that was a massive part of his greatness.

Ever since Mayweather brought up PEDS, Pacman has not looked the same. He hasn't knocked anyone or beat up anyone the way he did before the accusations. Stop being blind people.

He lacked movement because Timmeh was using movement.

emmanuel's footwork looks amazing against stationary targets

This too. After the first half, Bradley simply moved to the left, and nulified Pacquiao. Pacquiao was too gassed at that point to do much about it. Pac was way too heavy.

Age will definitely slow you down.

but LET'S BE HONEST ABOUT THIS:

So will Bob Arum telling you to "go easy on the guy, try to make it look close."

    ------------

    - Only one of those two things will cause you to do almost no counterpunching for 12 rounds. Figure it out .....

Yeah, it's more Pacquiao being unable to catch-up.

This is actually moved out of equation often when they analyze Pacquaio.

    That he has poor movement.

The guy came from fighting at lower weights where movement is an essential part. And he managed to catch-up to opponents back in the day. It's just that he doesn't seems to be able to provide that burst of energy on his legs anymore.

It may sound like an excuse for Pacquiao, for most part the guys he's fighting were 100% in boxing, while he spreads himself too thin with other things.

Doesn't help a lot especially with a guy who is beyond prime years.
