Pac has declined quite a bit. Not just physically but mentally. He's pretty much done as the fighter we once knew.

    No, it's full conditioning.

Pacquiao is a guy who maximizes his athleticism, and you don't achieve perfect conditioning on your actual training camp but even before it.

A boxer should always be taking care of himself, early naps and all.

But when you are also acting, some shoots do take until midnight, so how's that for his sleep. This just just one aspect.

    That's just my take.

He is clearly losing his legs. It's not because of what Bradley brought. Bradley was coming forward and standing in the pocket. Once upon a time Manny would be in and out on his toes, presenting angles, and covering distance seamlessly. He simply cant cover ground and maintain the rhythm on his feet like he use to.

He's 33 years old with a style based around his athletic traits from lower weight classes. He's declining and that absolutely makes sense.

    Let's be honest about THIS:

Pac was probably trying to throw the fight, or at least make it competitive enough that people would be interested in a rematch. - Uncle Bob's orders, no doubt.

I agree. He can't fight flat footed. He's a ko waiting to happen against a good puncher.

I agree, the mental aspect is a bigger problem I think. I think he feels that he's already proven himself multiple times (which he has) and that he really doesn't have anything to prove anymore. I totally respect that but it also means that a lot of the hunger is gone, and for a fighter who has such an explosive style, I feel that the mental aspect is a huge factor in even just making him want to fight in that same style.

Although I'm happy that at least there were shades of that Pac still present last night, especially in the middle rounds.

So, I believe a call out for him to hang it up while everything is still intact may be in order.

In my opinion what made Pacquiao brilliant was his relentless attack. He never took the foot of the pedal and just kept coming. He has lost that.

What made him so effective was fighting old, dehydrated, flat-footed fighters who stand right in front of him to be hit. Pac will never beat Marquez or Bradley decisively. Lol
