Which fight was more competitive - Pac-Bradley or Mayweather-Cotto?

It's funny - even though Mayweather clearly won against Cotto, it was a very competitive fight on my cards, with the fight in question until the last 3 rounds.

I personally never had any questions or doubts at all from round to round that Pacquiao had the fight well in hand and was coasting to a clear win.

But then when you see the official results, they show the opposite of that.

So, which fight did YOU see as being the closer, more competitive battle?

 

I voted Mayweather-Cotto for a few reasons.

-Cotto made a lot of rounds competitive, where as Bradley was domianated in several rounds v Pacquiao

-The effect of Cotto's punches were more visible on Mayweather than Bradley's on Pacquiao

-The psychology of "Miguel Cotto the future HOF boxer with notoriety" vs "Timothy Bradley" who casual fans have never heard of or seen.

People are really shitting on Bradley. He fought well!

 

Mayweather vs Cotto was a much more competitive fight.

 

I didn´t vote because I think both Mayweather and Pacquiao won 9 rounds to 3. They were both dominant. Unfortunately for Pac, Arum was promoting the fight.

 

Cotto won rounds 6 and 8 far more clearly than Bradley's best round in the Pac fight. Cotto was also getting through with much better, solid looking shots throughout the fight. Bradley's rounds were mainly won on workrate, and Pac blocked the majority of his shots.

That being said, Mayweather had a more successful offence against Cotto than Pac's offence against Bradley -- he hurt Cotto with the uppercut late in the fight, and was also landing very clean, sweeping right hands early in the fight. He didn't miss as much as Pac.

 

mayweather-cotto. pac aboslutely dominated bradley. bradley didn't even touch pac up. cotto pushed floyd back and busted his nose.

 

Sweethome bama would vote for May-Cotto. But that's because Bradley won 119-109 on his card.

 

Bradley-Pacquiao

While Cotto seemed to be in it, we all knew that Mayweather was boosting his next buy rates by making it a more interesting fight. He was in control start to finish. Bradley did manage to sneak a few rounds in there.

 

Neither were competitive.

Both Pacquaio and Mayweather dominated their opposition.

 

I voted for Floyd and cotto. Manny never looked to be vulnerable to me at all. It looked like an easy night. Floyd looked like he had to work a little more. Maybe because of the fight he chose to fight.

 

Mayweather Cotto. Cotto came to fight and fought every minute of every round. Manny was on autopilot looking bored as **** and not throwing for the first two minutes of any given round.

 

It was complete domination for both.

HOWEVER, Mayweather was relatively more visibly out of his element, versus Pac who was imposing his will on Bradley all night long.
