This own trainer is not even confident in beating Mayweather. Says he would beat everyone (Including Manny) without a second thought... but when it comes to Mayweather he is unsure. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YhmqlAUyXr4[/ame]
You're saying that Mayweather manages to do what the accurate, hard punching counterpunching Pacquaio, who was landing clean all night did not manage to accomplish? People are selling Bradley far too short here. Bradley was mostly running from Pacquaio. He was running because it hurts to get hit by Pacquaio who has a very explosive offense as well as accurate counterpunching. Styles make fights. Mayweather too has accurate counterpunching, but he doesn't have the power that Pacquiao does. Additionally, Mayweather would miss frequently if he too threw combinations and was forced to be the aggressor against a guy that consistantly moves his head and showed that he can be very elusive. He's much more elusive than Cotto, and he proved it by not getting hit by almost every combination that Pacquaio decided to throw. Typically when Bradley gets hit, it's only with one punch. It's very difficult to land a combination on this guy. With that said, Bradley will put the pressure on Mayweather from start to finish. His roughouse tactics, aggressive defense, and consistant pressure and punching would make Mayweather very uncomfortable. Mayweather like Pacquaio, would land all the significant punches, and Bradley would mostly hit gloves and air. I think Bradley is probably a harder fight for Mayweather sylistically than he was for Pacquaio considering Pacquaio's power. Still though, Mayweather would win decisively, and hopefully there wouldn't be any idiots on this site that said Bradley's activity won the fight like there are today in regards to his fight with Pacquaio.
No. PBF isn't aggressive enough to stop Bradley (unless Bradley drops his guard to touch gloves with Floyd) and it's now established that outlanding Bradley by a wide margin is insufficient to win rounds against him. This is a mismatch. PBF has basically no chance.
Bradley is more elusive than Cotto, he's also vastly more technically flawed thus opening up many more oppertunitys for Mayweather to either lead, or counter punch. Pacquaio punches harder but Mayweather is a heavier and stronger guy, it'd be a different type of preassure. Accurate, constant punches, while Bradley lands nothing major would tire him out. Hard to lift those muscled arms for 12 rounds.
this is stupid may would either stop him or win a shut out bradley isnt good an he got a gift decision against pac an i see most guys at 147 beating him cuz he has no punching power an he cant bully them around the ring like he does at 140.
Not only will Floyd/Bradley sell more but Floyd would annihilate Bradley. Bradley is a jack of all trades, master of none type fighter meaning he has a good base but hardly nothing that paticurally stands out as an elite attribute. I would have to quote Roach and say Bradley wins no rounds.
Yeah i 100% agree. Bradley is all wrong for Floyd and would win big vs Floyds Poor style...... With the same judges as Saturdays fight anyway.
Mayweather is not the vastly bigger guy. He even weighed in on fight night for Cotto at 147 according to what he said. If this fight was at 147 they're pretty much nearly the same size, but Bradley can potentially come in on fight night at 152+ and I believe he has done so before. Regarding Floyd's accuracy, you only need to look back to the Cotto fight, where he was pretty accurate, but not that ATG accuracy that we're used to seeing. Bradley is more elusive than Cotto, look for that accuracy to drop some more. Physically, while Bradley isnt too much bigger, he does have quite a bit of physical strength, in which I would have them near even as I rate Floyd's physical strength relatively highly as well.
This would look embarrassing for bradley. If you can't get Mayweather on the ropes and keep him from countering you, you've already lost.
