I agree. Thats why this should be a thrilling fight. Steward and Lee know the Texas commision. Especially after this weekend, you cant leave it up to the judges. Chavez should be worried about the judges as well.

Chavez doesn't have a hard punch at middleweight and has a good beard. It's most likely going to decision regardless of whether Lee or Chavez controls the fight.

Lee wins a robbery decision thus ordering a rematch and avoiding Martinez . . . .

Good point, although Chavez does have enough heart and workrate to either beat Lee into submission stoppage or be KO'd by one of Lee's power punches.

I think this could be a WAR. But not the first 2 rounds. But Chavez will turn it inton one I think. Either guy could ko the other really. Chavez might not be as hard hitting but he is going to be bigger by about 10 lbs.
Thing is, Lee is bigger than anyone Chavez faced before so it wont be as much of an advantage as normal. Chavel will dif that body and rush in. Question is can he get in close without taking Lee's right hook or left uppercut to the body. If he can he wins. If he can't he will get stunned and then anything could happen. If Lee does stun chavez I think he should remain at the same pace and not rush in to finish him. Lee needs to just keep the pace easy. If Lee comes it at 160 on the button I think he will be ok. If he comes in at 158 or 159 I would be worried.

The longer this fight goes on the more likely Chavez Wins. If it ends early it will be a Lee ko. If it ends late it will be a chavez KO.

No way Lee can withstand the Texan Summer heat. I can't believe its an outdoor stadium. No Irishman is built for that kind of climate. Remember McGuigan V Steve Cruz. Critical error. Steard screwed up this time agreeing to this.

Been watching Andy Lee since the old days where him and Duddy were on RTE and on the other side Khan was on ITV lol. Excited for the guy, and hopefully he makes a better shot at it than Duddy did.

We don't know what kind of Chin he has he has been coddled more than anyone not named Amir Khan. We don't know what his Chin is like and Lee is not a savage puncher anyway. I am looking forward to the fight should be a good atmosphere and a good scrap just hope the refereeing and judging is fair but in Texas that is asking a lot.....

Well said. . . I think Lee does have slightly better "one punch power.", but I think due to CHavez's physical size, strength, stamina, and durability, his accumulation of punches pretty much gives him the same "power." He has a decent one shot punch himself. . .

I'm worried that Chavez is going to use furosemide to make weight because I'm pretty sure the Texas Athletic Commission isn't going to give a damn about testing him. . .

Yeah you're right he wasn't really been in there with any murderous punchers at this weight class, and Lee doesn't entirely fit that bill anyway. So I misstated why this fight is likely to go to a decision.

I'd say Lee punches about as hard as Pirog, but not as hard as Golovkin, or Quillen. . .

He probably has a slightly better "one shot" punch than Chavez, and about on par with Sergio.

Hope your right Bama. . Huge Lee fan. . .

Also like Chavez, though. . . So I'll be happy as long as a good fight is put on, with a FAIR decision.

Chavez is fat and undisciplined and Andy Lee while being a bit chinny can hit hard and Chavez loves eating flush power shots.

The only change of a Chavez victory is if Andy gets tired and opts to stand and trade like he did in the Vera 1 fight.
