Bradley has more chance in a rematch than he did in the first fight.

Simple fact.

The straight left that Manny was landing almost every time he threw it early in the fight was effectively nullified by the mid stages by Bradley, the punch landed less and less becoming all but ineffective in the final five rounds.

Bradley fought timid in Rounds 3, 4, 5 and 6 before turning it on in the later stages and in most peoples estimation, it's not a stretch to say he swept the championship rounds (10th, 11th, 12th)

A rematch definitely suits Bradley more than Pacquaio. We know from how fighters talk about their initial shock of Pacquaio that they're overwhelmed by the sheer movement speed he has and the power behind his punches, Bradley now knows exactly what to expect and has been in there with it - similar to Marquez who improved markedly from his first to second performance.

Pacquaio is also not getting any younger, has been in far more ring wars and has had a series of lack lustre fights in a row which all counts against him, even if the rematch is only 3-6 months away.

I'd still favour Pacquaio but where I was 90% expecting Pacquaio to win, I'd be now at about 55-60% - the rematch favours Bradley based on this performance.

Don't be one of the idiots who believes the hype - for a guy who got his ass kicked, it's funny how he's the only fighter who's faced Pacquaio in recent times and not had a horribly swollen mug at the final bell.

I think Bradley would do better in a re-match because he knows what Manny brings to the table now... He also hurt his foot in the 4th round.. So he only has room to improve. We all know he won 3 rounds on Saturday.. maybe he will do better in a re-match!

 

Bradley despite having a broken foot did WAY better than expected, did not go down from any left hooks, neutralized Pac's left by mid-fight, got Pac to decrease his punch output, and had Pac in defense mode in the championship rounds.

I think young Bradley figured him out and I bet you he learned more from this fight, than Pacquiao did.

I got my money on Bradley for the rematch.

If Bradley looked terrible, Pacquaio looked terrible. There is no denying from me that Pacquaio won the fight at a 116-112 margin but ultimately? The hype coming through all seems to extinguish the fact that in at least seven rounds (1, 2, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12) - the fight was competitive. No question Pacquaio dominated the middle stretch but outside of that? You have to be an HBO Butt Smurf to forget that stuff.

 

Gonna be hard to top the clinic Bradley put on the first time, but I think he can shut Manny out completely now.

Once Pacquiao knew he had Bradley beat, he took his foot off the gas far too much. If he wants to, I think he'll stop Bradley next time around. He stunned him several times and if he has that killer instinct back, Bradley won't see the final bell.
