Just a couple of points here.

1. This has not shown up on any credible boxing news site
2. All belts are returned to the fighter that held them before the fight. A fighter only leaves the ring with the belt for show he then gets his own belt and the original owner gets his back.

Giving the belt back means jack **** manny gets it back no matter what. what timothy can't do is give the actual title back to manny as fighters don't have the power to name champions. the most he could do would be to vacate the championship leaving both men without a title. if he wants to make things right he only thing that he can do is give manny a rematch

1. Returning the belt to WBO would be more of an indication of Tim's character as a human being as opposed to restoring Manny's legacy.

2. For the legitimacy of boxing, this fight should be ruled a no contest.

3. For the legimacy of Nevada as a fair venue to hold big fights, this fight should be investigated by an out of state person with power to subpoena and depose anybody involved.

There will be no rematch. Ticket brokers already told Bob they won't be buying tickets for a rematch citing the whole world saw it as a one sided fight regardless of the decision.

 

IF this is true,than too bad Manny does not have the integrity to do the same for JMM!
