:deal JMM was very technically sound @ 126... They used to call him the human CPU! He would of picked Morales apart and won a wide UD..

I watched how JMM dismantled his opponents in 126 with sick combos, and those uppercut combos were insane. But IMO the 122/126 Morales that fought Barrera 1/2 would be a difficult fight for JMM.

I thought Barrera was the one who ducked JMM.

I hope this happens, although it's not gonna look good to see Morales get that ass whoopin that's overdue from the MASTER...

10 years too late, but better late than never

I just hope Morales still has something left in the tank and not just trying to get a new paycheck

    JMM became pro at 19yo,

it's obvious Morales is much more war torn than JMM, you only need to see their recent performances

Morales is washed up, he couldn't even beat Garcia.. JMM is past his prime but still can compete at the elite level, as much as I respect Morales he's in for a brutal asskicking. JMM by easy decission

Marquez is like 4-5 years older than Morales (and Barrera/Pacquaio)

Wouldn't be surprised whichever way this fight goes.

Age has to catch up with JMM at somepoint.

If this is true, I give more respect to Morales then I ever did. He's old and way past it and is still fighting the best.:bbb One of the most respected boxers ever.:happy

Yeah Morales ducked Marquez....that's from the same mythical duck list where it says Hopkins ducked Reggie Johnson and Floyd Mayweather ducked Joshua Clottey.

Unless JMM has aged overnight, this will be a mismatch. Hopefully it actually happens though, even if it is years too late.

I don't give a **** what you just posted... about those BS ass fights...

Marquez Morales was a legit Duck by Morales because he was Arum's Favorite Boy he wasn't gonna go into a high risk low reward fight with Marquez, and Marquez has not wanted to grant Molares a fight because he never granted him one when Morales was the big boy...

which is why I am surprised Marquez Morales is actually being talked about as Marquez has completely ruled out MORALES in the recent Past... so either Marquez was thrown a lot of money to take the fight, or it ain't gonna happen, With a PAC fight looming around the corner making it even more unlikely I am very skeptical of this supposed fight taking place on the undercard of Canelo.

So STFU and stop inventing ****.. Mayweather Clottey compared to Morales Marquez? GTFO ya *****...

I dunno, Marquez has handled old age way better than Morales. It's not going to be indicative of what they could have done had they met in their primes. I wish it had happened years ago... still, I'd watch it.

Yick. I wish Erik Morales would just retire. He is a warrior but his time is long gone.

Marquez vs Bradley or Marquez vs Khan please.
