A good actual heavyweight, under 220 pounds. I like his in-fighting. He is the backup if Super Seth fails

I like him, those hooks he threw (particularly the bodyshots) were nice, I see that he uses the uppercut often, which can win him fights in the future, but I see that he swongs and misses wildly alot, looks like his power isn't to big as well (or it might be that Liahkovic hasa a good chin, I don't know)

all in all, he's someone to watch in the future, definitely a talent

    He's raw, but very exciting.

There was a good discussion here after his last fight. Do a search.

He didn´t have an extensive amateur background and as a pro he has just 13 fights in the books, but already defeated a fellow undefeated prospect and a former world champion. How can you be not impressed with him. He´s doing great so far.

THus far I'm very impressed with him. . . He's shown better lateral movement than any other HW out there right now. . . Very good hand, and foot speed. Good technique. . Ring composure, and IQ.

Great jab with a long reach. . .

I rate his dominant performance over Liakovich very highly. . . ALso his win over Byarm was good too.

I think he's got the best chance right now of any of the American HW's.

What's the story on this Steve Collins, Jennings is fighting this weekend?

He's 25 (18) and 1, but I never heard of any of his opponents.

Is this a step up for Jennings, or a record-pad?

I thought he would lose that match. He has improved a lot and seems like he will continue to do so.
And i agree with the last aprt, he seems like the most talented American HW.

Yeah, Liakovich is a little older, and out of prime, but he's far from being "shot". . . Bookies had him as around a -150 favorite if I'm not mistaken. . . He was doing very well against Helenius before getting KO'd in his last fight.

He just went out and completely dominated, and looked good doing so. . . ANd yes, I thought Liakhovich was going to win as well.

I like guys with styles like Jennings: They move around a lot, but also pump out a lot of jabs, and combinations. . Stopping often to stay in the pocket to land hard shots, and then proceed to move out, and continue popping the chain.

    Definitely.

Jennings is faster & more overall aggressive than Mitchell. Unfortunately, he also has holes in his defense & balance, and I'm not sure he's the hardest puncher out there.

    - but I can't wait for Sat. Collins appears to be a big, powerful guy, also with limited amateur experience, and maybe not such a bum after all. It could be a very interesting fight. Imagine if Collins somehow manages to KO Jennings? We'd have a new serious American HW contender. (at least for a while.)

He's got a pretty good workrate for a HW, and is in top shape as well I was quite surprised atthe ease with which he dispatched Liakhovich.

To me the biggest question is about him is his ability to take a punch.... I haven't seen him take many flush shots.

I like him a lot. Currently, my favourite UK HW prospect is Price and my favourite US prospect is Jennings. And they're at opposite ends of the spectrum, in more ways than one. But I'm impressed with them both. They seem thoroughly dedicated, and that's king with me. Jennings has his eye on the prize. He should embarrass so many of these fat slackers masquerading as prospects into getting the best of themselves too. Because some of them are blessed with much more experience, size and strength to get to the top and they're seemingly not putting half the discipline or drive into it.

    He's...a...freight train...

As far as the American heavyweights go he is a solid prospect. I like watching him fight and he seems to not be scared and as protected as Mitchell is.
