I must say it's definitely a good look. I'm very surprised at Bob taking this stance as it's additional monies that will be coming out of his pocket. Any thoughts on the fight this past weekend?

Sounds like and actually doing are two entirely different things. No objective observer would take Arum at his word. Point blank, he hasn't done anything yet, and he's a proven liar. Now if he follows through, I'll have no problem giving him credit.

:huh Didnt Pac recently turn down testing from Vada?? Not sure where you're going with this but you're putting your faith into a proven liar!

Bob Arum, Nonito & even Gabe already getting some virtual head.

Its cool if Arum is really going to do this, even though this is an obvious PR stunt.
BTW, Gabe, do you have plans to push for transperency in Top Rank testing policy?

Gabe - You sent a tweet a half hour asking if there were rumors that Pacquiao failed a drug test, would we be going at you to find it?

Honestly, I don't even know where to start.

Firstly, USADA reported their results that included EPO and CIR testing and reported that all of Mayweather's results were negative. Here is the statement directly from the link that you also tweeted:

Both Mayweather and Cotto were tested a total of thirteen times each by USADA between March 7, 2012 and May 5, 2012, with eleven of the sample collections occurring with no advance notice leading up to the fight, and the final two sample collections occurring after the fight. For each athlete, USADA collected nine urine samples, and four blood samples. All samples collected by USADA were tested by a WADA-accredited lab in accordance with the WADA List of Prohibited Classes of Substances and Methods. All athletes tested by USADA are held to the standard of strict liability and are responsible for any prohibited substances that could be found in their body.

All urine samples were analyzed for EPO and by CIR, and all blood samples were tested for the presence of hGH. Collections were conducted using a balanced test distribution schedule, and with no allowances for black-out or cut-off dates.

I have no doubt that if Pacquiao did decide to undergo additional testing and an organization reported that he was tested and was clean, you would drop it in a second. You let your personal feelings towards Mayweather be known publicly and it's clear that you have a personal issue with him. This is clouding your judgement as a writer and ultimately affecting your reputation. You (and Maxboxing) boycotted Mayweather-Cotto because he was a wife beater, as you said. Aren't you supposed to put your personal feelings aside and do your job for your readers? Maxboxing was represented at Rios-Abril but not the biggest fight of the year and that's very telling. Didn't Maxboxing also score the fight for Top Rank's rising star Rios, too?

Secondly, there are crazy rumors everywhere that Manny is cheating. I mean, everywhere. Boxers talk about it. Writers talk about it. Insiders talk about. Many are willing to speak about it, too. There are far more rumors of Pacquiao cheating than Mayweather, so to answer your question, yes I would like you to work night and day and figure out the truth regarding Ariza's methods and whether or not Pacquiao has cheated. I am pretty sure you know the truth there but you refuse to write about it or investigate it. Why is that? Didn't you also tweet Ariza directly a few months ago and imply that he was a PED coach when he questioned your reputation? I'd like to know more about that.

Floyd is tested above and beyond normal testing procedures, tests clean, while Pacquiao refuses additional testing, and look what you're focusing on?

    You're getting carried away here.

Starting with yourself and the other 75 who voted with you. Don't even use god's name. It's obvious he didn't give you nothing.

Drug testing is the promoter's expense.

    :think

I also remember VADA offering their service for testing the pac v bradley fight and being flat out rejected, although it was rumoured that Bradley had no problem being tested.

So I wonder who said no? Was it PAC? or was it BOB? The so called new found leader of extra drug testing, accept he didn't want to do it on the 2nd biggest fight of the year?

Well...VOLUNTARY drug test are at the promoters expense. The required testing that is in place is covered under the "sanctioning fees" for the state athletic commission where the fight is held.
