Obviously I didn't and obviously something Andre Ward saying is not the same as Bradley saying he was shocked at the result. Why am I involved in this? I don't give a ****.
This ladies and gentlemen is called conjecture. Conjecture is when you take what you think and put it in the mouth of others. Its not a misinterpretation its a deliberate rouge. Bradley was surprised at the judges score because he knew he had not won the fight in his own mind. This clown Pimp C puts forth the idea of what he (Pimp Clown) thought Bradley thought and thus said in reference to what he (Bradley) thought. Ludicrous. What Champion says "I gotta go back home, review the tape and see if I really won" That has nothing to do with a premise of Bradley wondering whether or not the judges would give him a win. Bradley had no confidence in his own performance in the ring. He thought he lost to Pacquiao. When Pacquaio was asked by Max Kellerman: "Do you think you won the fight?" - "Absolutely, yes." Why was he shocked? Because he didn't think he won. All the way up to the fight Bradley was confident, it was his confidence that brought what little attention he had gathered to him. He wasn't intimidated, he wasn't cowing away. Yet, after the fight itself. He isn't sure. He is uncertain. He need's to see some tape. He wants to think about it. Timothy Bradley lost the fight, he know's he lost. The judges gave it to him and he cant do anything about that.
Bradley has grown in my eyes. He lets fans understand that he understands the decision was weird without saying the words "I lost". And he fought well, even if Pac was too much to handle.
Ok so when you realise you lost a fight this BIG that the whole world has seen, and then you gone on and basically admit you lost, then surely, for some dignity, you would at least consider giving the belt up? I think if the same amount of people told me I didnt win if I won a world belt (lol) then I genuinely think I would give it back. I actually believe if Bradley dismiss the "win" and gave the belt back, he wouldnt only **** bob arum over and help restore some credit to the sport but he would also greatly re-enhance his stock. anyone else agree? or something similar?
To be fair I had it scored 117-113 and thats being very kind to Bradley, 116-112 at worst. No way he won that fight
pacquaio asked jmm man to man and looked in his eyes who won on the spanish espn. jmm told pac he had him up by 4pts.
Bradley did the best he could in this match against Pac. As people expected him to. He didn't however do enough to win or impress anyone with a boxing eye. Admittedly Pac didn't look very good and missed so many of his punches (which is why Bradley didn't look beat up afterwards) but still did more than enough to beat Bradley. Bradley almost landed 0 clean shots to the head. That is utterly amazing. For 12 rounds of boxing in a championship fight Bradley failed to exact any noticeable damage to Pacman. If Bradley said that after review and reflection he really can't accept the judges decisions and turned over the belts. That would say he had integrity. It would screw Bob 'Bobfather' Arum and his dirty dealings that's for sure. But he'd probably have to leave Top Rank too..
Pimp C and daprofessor don't know how to score a fight. So don't be surprised. Bradley, Pac was an ugly sloppy fight. It wasn't a complete shut-out by the brilliance of Pacman (as HBO commentators lead on) but Bradley did absolutely 0 in terms of impressive work. To score it a 'draw' is buffoonery. That makes Pimp C and daprofessor both buffoons.
