Ironically both Ortiz and Lara sport a similar record in their last 3 fights but are you trying to argue that Lara brings more to the table than Ortiz:huh

Ortiz is by far the bigger name.:deal

This fight is a joke and alvarez should be facing lara, cotto, molina or kirkland.

Lara would destroy ortiz and that's a fact.

bigger name, smaller guy...easier fight, yeah i know why he was picked...

is it asking too much to at least fight 1 time at your new division for challenging a 39-0 champion? nahhhh of course not

Once again Canelo fights a smaller guy rather than face Lara or a legitimate threat. That said, this promises to be an action affair and should sell well.

WTF are you talking about the smaller guy.?

Ortiz and Canelo match up well physically.

So there making getting Ortiz to move up another division, where he WILL be the smaller guy (I mean natural size, not height or reach). Still I'll be rooting for Ortiz, been a fan of his for a long time, hope he wins this one!

I have no idea why people are complaining about this match up.

This is an excellent match up with nothing wrong with it at any angle. You guys who are complaining are too used to 'made fights'. This is an actual fight. Let the young dogs go at one another. See who comes out on top.
Ortiz doesn't like Canelo. So bad blood there.

Canelo is going to get mauled.

Just say where he will be considered the smaller guy.
