Lee is very tall, keeps distance very well, has a decent timing with his jab to set up his brilliant left hand. Chavez jumps in with wild body shots leaving his chin in the air & with Lee's timing, he'll be catching him & making him hessitate the next time Chavez wants to jump in with those body shots. Zbik & Rubio were having sucsess when Chavez was jumping in & Lee timing is much better. Chavez on fight night weight might impose on Lee towards the end of the fight. Lee can stop Chavez though. WAR LEE:bbb YEAR OF THE UNDER DOGS:bbb
He comes in at 180, avoids a blood test after the fight (naturally) and cracks Lee on the chin, wherein Lee crumbles.
I'm assuming you talking about Lee-Vera I, well Lee was out boxing him until he got stopped & that wasn't because Vera was pressuring, he got stopped because Lee gassed, he was throwing & moving around the ring too much, he's now learnt when to stand & throw & stick & move, evident in the Lee-Vera II fight last year. Chavez has been avoiding the blood test all his career, been coming in at 180 on fight night & he's had 1 stoppage in his last 5 fights. and that was against a finished Manfredo. Chavez doesn't have great power.
I'll be upping this thread come sunday morning & be having my on laughs. Lee might get robbed though but i will score the fight honestly.
I think if Lee had JUST a bit better of a punch, he'd be able to deter Chavez from continuing to come in that front door. . . Or maybe if he had slightly faster food speed, and more stamina it'd enable him to keep the distance he needs to fire off his superior combinations on the outside.
Chavez is so open down the pipe, Lee has a very good 3 punch straight combo & then moves away to the right. Lee will win this.
easy...... Lee has terrible defense for body shots with that stand up euro/cockfighting style------Chavez is one of the most consistent and best body punchers in the game today Lee has a horrible workrate------Chavez very high workrate will outhustle Lee in every round Lee has good timing and decent power----Chavez has shown a very solid chin, more than likely good enough to take whatever Lee lands on him Even if the fight was in ireland there's no way Lee wins a decisions with that 5 punch per round ****......I see no way possible for Lee to win this fight.
