by that logic though Ward should have agreed to fight Bute in Montreal where he does better numbers than anyone at SMW anywhere. I get you but I think 168 is a big enough compromise. At least have it in Vegas. Dawson a G for taking this if he walks into Wards weight class in Wards hometown and wins or even has a good showing he deserves all the props in the world. Dawson winning would= fighter of the year for sure.
Ward/Bute is not a situation where one guy can't draw anywhere and another can only draw in his hometown. It's a situation where both guys only draw well in their hometown. Also, Ward's hand just recently healed and he wouldn't have even been able to fight in May. Furthermore, Ward claims he never got an offer to fight in Montreal. The venue is all about money. Oakland makes the most financial sense. Team Dawson knows this, which is why they agreed so easily. Also, 168 wasn't a compromise. I know you saw Dawson on T.V volunteer to fight at 168. I take nothing away from Dawson. He doesn't take soft touches. But neither does Ward. To denegrate Ward based on where the fight is held makes little sense to me.

This is hoing to be a snorefest like no other...ugh. Where I live, I'll have to wake up at 4am to catch this fight. Won't do that. So it's a toss up between watching the later non live broadcast or playing Fight Night Champion on th xbox...lol think beating pacman using Bradley on Fight Night is gonna be way more fun.
