    Load of old horse****.

    1. Bute can't fight for the title again because he lost by KO.

    2. This means he needs at least one fight in between, which won't be for another 3/4 months.

    3. In this time, Froch will also want another fight, which will be an IBF Title fight, probably against Kessler. He may even lose the title in his next fight, and there's no amount of clauses in any contract that can prevent that.

    4. By the time both have fought again (around August/September), neither will fight a 3rd time in 2012.

    5. There is no way that Interbox have anything like the control some people are making out. No way Eddie Hearn would have allowed it, or Matchroom's lawyers would have agreed it.

    6. No one can reasonably expect someone who KNOCKED OUT A CHAMPION and took his belt, to sit around (especially at the stage of his career Froch is at) waiting for someone to regather themselves for 6 months and do nothing in between. Since when should someone get a rematch straight away after such a one sided beasting? Froch lost to Kessler (without being KTFO), and then fought (and beat) Abraham and Johnson before losing to Ward...he didn't cry about a rematch straight away, he got on with it and showed he was in the top 3 in his division and earned all his fights and wins before knuckling down to rematches. Everyone's getting a little carried away I think.

And as for predictions of a rematch...why not let Bute fight someone else, see how he fares, and then think about it, but I for one have a feeling this rematch still may never take place. It will prove nothing. If Bute, as a professional boxer, took a former 2 time World Champion who has never been knocked out and fought EVERYONE in the division to close decisions too lightly, then he and his team are mugs. Doesn't mean he deserves a rematch straight away. Don't underestimate someone you are about to get in a fight with. Bad things can happen. Especially when they're quite obviously harder than you.

All right, I see i dialogue with some one respectable.I don`t argue further than that.Bedard said himself thay could have a rematch with Froch in december this year.In England, everyone is, reasponably very interested in Froch-Kessler II this fall. So, I suppose we still have a dilema. Will Froch team want to have these fights at a difffrence of three months?

    Very interesting post.:good
A lot of the things you say are exactly what I've been trying to get across. Some people are talking as if Froch is at the complete mercy of Interbox.Yes there is a rematch clause, but I/B don't own Froch.

Because in Ottawa we have Quebec right across the river. I also work in downtown Ottawa so there is a huge population of workers from Quebec working here due to the bilingualism aspect of things. In this city, you pretty much need to speak French and English to have a decent Career.

I also have family and friends in Montreal, where I basically go every second weekend (2hr drive).

I just heard them say on Sky Sports that Bute is unlikely to exercise his rematch clause and Froch came on and said he's trying to get Kessler at the City Ground (I think) for October.
Seems to be Bute's call that he doesn't want the rematch.Does he still have options if he doesn't take the fight within a certain time?

This is wishfull thinking (those journalists).Bute is in vacation and in the beginning of july will start to get himself together. If some Brits think Bute will let Froch alone regarding the rematch clause, THEY DON`T KNOW BUTE AND ARE VERY WRONG.In my previous post I said what appeard regarding Bedard declarations.

I wouldn't dare say I know for a fact that Bute wouldn't take a rematch and I know you acknowledge it's not me saying it AE,but I'd be careful about making sweeping statements like the one I've highlighted mate.Your boy took a hell of a beating and I think it's wise just to sit back and let things develop as they will.
What I can say is that Sky Sports were very impressed by Bute and his team from the build up right through to the fight so I don't think there's an agendas here.Like many Froch fans,I think they have a lot of respect for Bute as a person.

We have a little chat here.I don`t know why you quote some ignorant Sky journalists as time as here, in Romania as well as in Canada thinks are very different. Why those journalists have to assume their own wish?Let`s clearify a little bit the respect issue.Until the fight, all journalists in boxing world had no choice but respecting the ex-champion.Things changed a little bit.His "shares" rapidly suffered a descendind after that fight. And here we speak about Canada and even Romania. So we can imagine in England this is even further. You talk about a very theoretical concept which is not very proven anymore, especially by your conationals from tv.

You've totally missed my point here, and as you know I'm the last person to make fun of someone misinterpreting a post because it's not in their native tongue,so please read again and you'll see there's no vitriol whatsoever in my post.
All I was saying is that Sky Sports were very impressed with Bute,I doubt they'd say something like that just because they have an agenda, even with Froch on their books.
And I did see and hear with my own eyes and ears Froch saying that the new priority is to get Kessler to Nottingham in October right after SSN said Bute was unlikely to exercise the rematch clause(I assume they meant for Froch's next fight, but they didn't clarify.)
Again,I'm sorry, but I'm not sure what you mean when you say about Canada,Romania and England(I live in Scotland BTW) and theoretical concepts. All I'm saying is that Bute is respected by Sky Sports and a large section of the British sporting media.I think that's irrefutable.

I think nobody really knows yet but if I were Interbox, I'd try to make Bute-Pavlik and Froch-Kessler, the winners facing eachother.

uk Journalists are reporting as they see fit, doesn't make it true nor does it make them any more ignorant than any other journalist reporting on the situation. Bute is obviously not sure either.

Damn good idea this^^ Bute and pavlik are ideal for each other at this present time, also froch kessler makes big sense.
