If Steward has Lee execute a near flawless gameplan he could win. Lots of lateral movement and turning Julio, stiff jab, let some combos go, and when Julio gets inside he'll have to spoil and hold.

But.... Julio UD or late stoppage

you do realize that jr went tooth and nail with zbik, threw his entire arsenal at zbik who was never even close to being knocked down let alone stopped, who(zbik) then went on to be dominated and stopped by sturm...a guy that has a 40 percent ko rate?

seems to me that jr really doesnt have much of an ability to stop anyone.

oh yeah, zbik weighed 166 on fight night and lee will probably come in at around 175.

chavez has had trouble with lesser fighters. I dont see him beating andy lee by stoppage. then again, the matchup is pretty equal and a great clash of styles. i'm pulling for lee but I wouldn't bet the bank on him.

What does A vs. B have **** to do with C?
Maybe Zbik has a better resistance than "Blank"
Maybe Sturm has better overall skills than "Blank"

Whatever it is... Lee better stay off the ropes.

I don't think Lee is going to get sparked out if it got stopped, more like run out of gas and ref jumps in after he's pinned on the ropes or something like that. I've seen a few Lee fights, not many but I get the feeling he doesn't have to stamina to fight the fight he'll need to go 12 rounds and win 7 of them

Lee will come in around 169-170. . he really doesn't rehydrate that heavy. He weighed in at 163 against Vera (contracted weight), and he rehydrated to 170.

Zbik is a bit fleeter of hand, and foot than lee. . But doesn't hit half as hard. . .

I could definitely see Chavez stopping Lee. . .

I can't wait for the fight, though. . Should be a great fight.

I agree. . I don't see Lee getting stretched by Chavez. . I see him hitting E in the gas tank, eating some clean hard shots, retreating to the ropes covering up, and the ref, or steward stops it.

Lee is NOT CHINNY. . . His chin is fine. . It's his stamina.

yes. thats the question in this fight. chavez has the better stamina and workrate(threw close to 800 punches in the zbik fight). lee has the better power and more technical punches in his arsenal(straight left, right cross, right hook, jab). corners are equal(steward/roach).

if they both throw the same amount of punches after 12 rounds lee should win.

you cant even quantify the difference in punching power between lee and zbik.

do you have a link of lees rehydrated fight night weight against vera or
mcewan? ive googled it and nothing comes up.

thanks, man. good to see that there are still quality people that participate on this forum. i was hoping that lee was more of a 175-pound guy as jr will still come in around 180 and enjoy a 10-pound advantage.
