Why was a smart, prime fighter unable to outbox a down hill Pac?

Because Timmeh is not THAT skilled, and it took him a few rounds to figure out emmanuel.

Exactly. If Pacquiao is the best, then don't fight for the 154 belt with a 150 limit, win, claim 8th division champion, Jr. MW champion, then afterwards ask Cotto the NEW 154 king for a rematch at 147... WTF????

I also think Bradley wins in the rematch.

I agree completely. I give Pac a lot of credit and fully believe he is a HOF fighter. However when you start cooking the history books with catch-weights, fighters with ruined camps, well placed plants (Margarito), and all the while basking in the glow? I call fraud.

Bradley's a solid B+ in almost everything except power.... but this in no way makes him a top fighter. A top fighter is baseline B's with some A's to A+ in some categories. Bradley isn't an A anywhere, except mebbe in fighting will.

Bradley lacks power for a couple reasons... he dont really commit into his punches as much as he could, and he slaps with this hooks. This is easily seen in his slappy hook flurries.... great shoe shining, no power. He doesnt really seem to know how to turn-over and drop his right effectively. This is why he's got a featherduster KO record.

Pacquiao's got A power, A speed, and an A chin. Because Bradley doesnt have the power or sharpness to really hurt his chin, Pac willing to take more risks and let his left fly more. And Bradley aint gonna get the respect from Pac he needs to properly get his game on.

Bradley's got a B defense in general, but not A. He uses footwork pretty good, his guard was alright, but could be better. Not sure why he didnt train with his right glued to his chin.... No head movement, except when he bends to his right..... into Pac's straight left. Yeah, this was laughable to watch over and over and over... His B defense cant match Pac's A speed and anticipation

It was obvious Bradley was outclassed by an A caliber fighter. Simply because he's a B caliber fighter, not an "apex" fighter...

Is hitting the arms count as outboxing because i swear that was the entire intention of Bradley.

    Conditioning. He is A+.

Fighting will A- after that talk that he needed to get back on his game.

I've always wondered when we get in these debates what is cutting off the ring. It seems we all have our own little definition of it. Throughout this entire fight Many forced Bradley to the ropes or the corner exchanged at mid range always winning the exchange handily.

IMHO for a mid range fighter that is cutting off the ring. If you argue that cutting off the ring means that he has to keep in him on the ropes or the corner than that means you aren't arguing over footwork but infighting. Getting your opponent to the corner or ropes is about footwork. Keeping someone in the corner or on the ropes is about infighting.

Then you have to take crossed stances into account. As a southpaw I don't want to inflight with anyone. That is when you get clocked with a right hand you never see.

Keep the guy in front of you and within punching range limiting his escape options. It is real simple.

Nobody said that. Throw your punches at your desired ranges and don't let the guy squirt out the side. Don't chase a guy for seconds on end giving him tons of real estate to flee to IF you are in dominant position.

This is a false argument you are making. Nobody said Pac has to bury his chest into a guy and wing. We all know Pac fights in space. Pac just can't seem to move laterally to keep guys, from the shot to the inexperienced, from escaping him all night. He needs cooperative flat footed cans.

Guys can turn Pac all night and completely neutralize his alleged devastating left hand. All the while Pac is flailing at air with ZERO answers.

Why are some trying to fool people into thinking bradley is some great boxer. He is the opposite.mma crude brawler with no power. The success at 140 was due 100% to him being physically stronger and bullying his opponents. Skilled he is not.

The question I have is why did he make paq look so bad. Ay elite WW walks though Bradley and really stops him

EXACTLY! He isn't! Neither is Mosley! Yet they were both able to make Pac look horrible.

Pac is not what he has been sold as. Too bad for him, the last flat footed brawlers campaigning at 147 have retired.
