It's good that Paul may recover, but **** off with your dark-age religious bull****. Try praying for the children dying everyday of starvation - it wont work. The reason being, your "God" is a figment of your imagination (well somebody else's who brainwashed you). Promising news for Paul!
Guys, please. This is a "be happy that Paul Williams injury isn't as bad as first reported" and leave it at that.
I understand where your coming from, but the bible says there will always be poor. We live in a society that multi millionaires commit suicide because of depression, and yet some of these people in 3rd world countries with aids... Never even thought about it! So a poor person with the will to live, and a rich person who killed themselves... Who is poor? Life isn't all about $ or material things OBVIOUSLY. Some guy could be poor as dirt (to us) and be extremely rich cuz he has a loving wife, kids, great family, he's happy and content with his relationship with God (where real joy/ peace come from). Some rich guy had 5 divorces, 10 kids, has a crack addicition, and is so miserable. Of course it's sad there are kids with Aids, kids get born in these environments, and it should make us realize how GOOD WE HAVE IT. There are also TONS of organizations (Christian and non-christian) that help support these people. This is something God calls us to do, and if everybody would do there part (like the bible says) there would be a lot less of this stuff going on. Some things cannot be explained though (bible also mentions that), and of course it's about trust and faith. I can't tell you why somebody is born with aids while there is a god. There is most definitely good, and evil in this world. Theres health and theres also sickness and disease. It does say the devil is the king of this world (until getting thrown in the lake of fire in the end days), and god has *allowed* him to sift us... To test us basically. This is a boxing forum, and to get better boxers have to train hard, and go through pain. This is the same way with life to be a stronger person. That is why we coin the phrase "no pain, no gain"
More like misdiagnosis Good news and I'm happy for Paul, but dont get your ignorant superstitious panties in a bunch
That's what I have said before. If he can walk then he might be able to fight. Paul has a big heart of the champion.:good
First of all, don't talk about Tommy Morrison's kids like that. Second of all, Tennessee is NOT a 3rd world country.
I dont get it, why people acts as if prayers mean **** :huh When I was a kid, with my mind still poisoned by the religious bullcrap my ignorant parents drilled into my brain like they did to you, I used to pray all the time. people close to me still died, my favorite teams still lost, I still failed to pass some tests at school, never won the lottery, etc **** just doesn't work, maybe because at the end of the day you're just talking to yourself :-( I can't deny prayers are useful as a mental placebo when people just cant cope with the harsh realities of life. Heck, some weeks ago my aunt who is almost like a mom to me went through surgery and I was seriously tempted to pray. I didn't and she still got well. Medical science rocks.
