Except you're the dummy, being so eager to criticise you missed my reply being in response to a post about Pac-JMM II being overturned.

Made no mention of Pac-JMM III. Personally I feel it was close, but acknowledge a majority had Pacquiao clearly losing. I wouldn't have much of a problem if they wanted to overturn it based on public perception, I just wouldn't classify it the same as Holy-Lewis, JCC-Whitaker, and Pac-Bradley. There is a small percentage who thought Pacquiao won, it was not 9-3. Pacquiao-Bradley was nowhere near as competitive, you won't find anyone pushing Bradley's case. Pacquiao dominated Bradley and smashed him all over the ring.

i wouldnt in favor in reversing the decision if the investigating body find something fishy then let the judjes be responsible, by reversing it will just ad insult to injury.

They should never reverse a decision. It was bad one, but rematch is solution, and firing judges who made it.

WBC implicitly set aside the official decision and ordered a rematch for Tony-Peter.

That said, the only way the pac-Bradley decision gets quashed is if incontravertable proof of corruption emerges.

In the absence of that, the decision will stand.

The possibility of reversing decisions would only add more confusion. This is the problem:

    http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=401019&cat=judge&pageID=1

so you have a judge who is obviously blind/corrupt/incompetent, and somehow no one cares about it... this was the judge who had seen Holyfield winning with Lewis, and she is not only just working like nothing happened - you can see that major bodies (IBF, WBC and WBA) still have no problems to give her their title fights to judge. Probably if you look at the record of other blind/corrupt/incompetent judges you would see something similar.

Of course, they are doing some kind of investigation when the robbery is to big to be overlooked (Holy-Lewis, Pac-Bradley), but I guess it would be much more easier just not to employ someone who made this kind of "mistake" any longer. I guess this would be just too efficient ;-)

  11. So admitting that the judges are corrupt and/or incompetent will make things better? Ok...

I don't think PAC would want the decision overturned even . I'm sure Bradley didn't want to to win like this but I'm even more sure PAC wouldn't want to win after a reversal like that either. The rematch is all that can be done- which is wat arum wanted all along. We've been played methinks. I don't think a reversal I'll fix anything even if it could happen

I'd rather see all energy spent on building a referee and judging organization independent of all other bodies, with a transparent ranking system and training. In then Nba the best get to ref the finals and the. Playoffs based on rankings of their performance. Boxing should do the same. Let guys work espy and small fights until they accrue the credibility to judge big fights. Make them fill out a form justifying why each point and round was scored the way it was after each fight.

Boxing needs to die in a way , so that it can be fixed and reborn . It needs to get so bad, and people need to lose enough money for the to change. But I ll settle for arum dying. Once he goes, maybe golden boy can fix **** up, but mores likely they ll become the new corrupt head.

In a fair world the fight would be ruled a no contest, and the officials given a life ban, but it won't happen! Boxing is ruled by crooks!
