Fitzsimmonds i agree could be top ten, hell he may even be #1, but this so just my list. I know its subjective. I just dont know enough about Fitz opposition to determine his place
bailey has never knocked any one out at the top level when he fought cotto he didnt even budge and we all know cotto had some shakey wiskers back then
Pacqiuao should be up there. The little carried his power to 8 weight divisions and still displays today. If it wasn't for Pac's power he wouldn't be here today. I'm just saying.
As *******ish as this sounds I have to agree, and it's 9 weight divisions from his starting weight :good
Earnie Shavers KOed nobody of note in his whole career. Savage punchers are able to KO the upper tier fighters they fight.
Bailey, while a hard hitter, has very over rated power. He hit a chinny Cotto(e) Right on the chin several times before being beaten up. Bailey's KO over Jones was the product of Jones have an absolutely ****ing appalling glass jaw.
Yeah, Tyson's power was actually real. If Shavers is #1, there's really no justiable way of keeping Tyson out of top ten. However, Hardest puncher is definitely about as subjective as you can get compared to just Puncher which demands several different aspects to be taken into account.
Good to see Naz get a mention, freakish power. Deffo in my lifetime though Julian Jackson is head and shoulders above the rest.
I love Mike Tyson, but its pretty obvious he's not nearly the biggest puncher of all time. He put his punches together beautifully for a short, stocky heavyweight. There is little doubt about his power, and its no knock on him that there have been bigger punchers in the history of our sport, I think he'd agree. Foreman and Shavers both hit significantly harder than him with one punch.
