I dont get it I mean **** if you cant see whos holding who here how can I depend or even think your view on the fight should be taken seriously:think
we were talking about the amateurs kid, you can find the rules at Nevadas site and there is a section that does show you how rounds are scored and what judges look for. I was discussing with professor that Manny would not have won that fight in the Amateurs with shots like that he wouldnt have infact as a trainer judges always will tell you and give you tips to improve, at the end of nearly every fight the judges in the amateurs here will usually give the fighter and trainer advice on how to win bigger or avoid a loss 9 times out of ten they tell you to keep your hands up more and turn them shots over better. Now if you do not understand the term turning over your shots then I suggest you go to a gym and find out what that really means.
Compubox is bull I don't believe those numbers, and I didn't like the hbo bias. That being said, this round was NOT a bradley round on my card, I can go in detail if you like. Round 5 was closer to a Bradley round than this one imo
i've been saying it for years!!!! lamps/merchant are bad for boxing. i realized it waaaay back when delahoya was on the way up. they really laid it on for that guy. that's when the bias became very apparent to me. notice they **** on the sanctioning bodies...and they refuse to call fighters champions...they call them title holders. but they were the same ones who tried to legitimize the wbo when their house fighters held those straps. they suck.
:good I am sorry but if you have a facebook account go check out the racist comments from the Filipinos on his page its ****ing horrible I mean its bad Pacquiao brings fans like this to Boxing, then I say Pacquiao is bad for the sport
please do. i initially scored this for pac...after watching the video again...i see it as a bradley round.
i believe it. asians/filipinos are some racist ppl. u would think being a minority...they'd be more tolerant/understanding...but they're not exempt.
is this the best u can contribute to the conversation? can u refute what he is saying? add to the argument or stfu and let grown men talk.
Compubox is a joke, and has been for a long time. No true boxing fan would attempt to use it to prove anything. It's equally amazing and disgusting to me how influential it is, too. Read any number of articles about the Pacquiao-Bradley fight online and you'll see it mentioned in abundance as 'proof' that Pacquiao destroyed Bradley, which just wasn't the case. Pacquiao should have won, but take those dodgy compubox figures and the ridiculously biased HBO commentary away and the 'robbery' hysteria surrounding this fight would be non-existant. We'd be talking about how Pacquiao had several fantastic rounds, hurt Bradley and how Bradley fought hard, came back into the fight and made it relatively close in the end. Compubox should be ditched. Reminder: This content is protected Compubox = Human = Just as susceptible to bias and making mistakes as any judge, commentator or fan.
Where? What is "Nevadas site?" And whatever this is, are these the official rues of the various governing bodies? What if all the bodies have DIFFEREING rules, which are different yet again from various state commission rules ... You see my point? What rules actually count? OK, Bob Arum's rules actualy count, but I mean, which rules THEORETICALLY count? It's a mess.
they must follow the rules of the ABC you can google their site, google Nevada state athletic commission and you will find the rules there.
thanks, I'll take a look. - but still, The state commission doesn't award belts, nor do they pick the judges. Who says "they" have to follow the rules of the ABC? The ABC? And so if they don't, then .... then the sanctioning body for that fight can still award the title & belt to whomever their judges picked. The commission (along with the paid-off commissioner) have VERY little say in anything. I'm not sure you understand my point. Where have the WBC, WBO,& IBF said publicly that they abide 100% by the ABC rules? AFAIK, they haven't, but they DO have their OWN rules.
