Pacquiao isn't as dominant in that round as his HBO cheerleaders would suggest but c'mon it is an obvious obvious pacquiao round. I really like tim bradley- he's one of the good guys of the sport. I thought he caught way too much flak for 'ducking' Khan (I think he'd easily win that fight) when he was clearly just having promotional issues and I've been a fan since he beat witter (who I couldn't stand) over here in the UK. To go as a unknown and win abroad in your opponents back yard deserves respect but do you really think he won that round bazooka? Its all lazy jabs that are hitting arms and gloves from Tim all round long.
Yes I do and so did three judges, Now not to be rude, But I pay your post no attention due to your joining date here. Everytime a Pacquiao fight takes place all the little *******s get together and create a bunch of Alias User accounts here, there is no reason to suspect your not one of them
I scored it in 30 second 6ths rather than 3rds when i just watched it now since there were a few stages of things going on and neither fighter land over a handful of shots 1st 30: no one landed anything. Bradley's only winning here because at least he's doing something (throwing jabs but not landing) 2nd 30: Pac lands a short counter, Bradley a small shot to the body as he comes in (hard to spot as the ref is crossing the camera) 3rd 30: Both are missing, Bradley lands a couple front body shots in the clinch, Pac lands 2 glancing uppercuts and jumps in with a stiff left while jumping in. 4th 30: Where the most action is, but 95 % of the punches from BOTH fighters are missing. Pac lands a stiff jab and 2 pitty pat hooks later, Bradley lands a solid wide hook toward the end. 5th 30: Bradley lands 2 "hooks" (one glances and the other is his wrist really). Bradley lands a very good right uppercut simultaneously with a pac blow and Pac lands a very good shot after the head clash, pac misses some uppercuts but lands a solid jab before holding him down 6th 30: No one really lands anything until Bradley lands a leaping jab at the end of the round. That's it on clean punching Both showed good defense in different ways which is why both missed a lot in this round; Pac by blocking, Tim by head movement. You can't discriminate just because one method is flashier Each fighter's sense of ring generalship and aim to control the pace helped to offset the other fighter's aggression so I have that equal as well. Okay after typing all this it looks to me as if it could go to either lol but its not as one sided as you put it. still edged it to pac
Fair enough about the joining date thing. I don't really go in for the *******/***** stuff. It's all a bit boring and no-one genuinely discusses anything rationally. I think all sensisble boxing fans have always seen Mayweather coasting to a comfortable UD against a game but overmatched pacquiao. I'm just on about this round. All I could see was pacquiao take the first minute off, bradley deploying an ineffective jab and then in the last half of the round where pacquiao steps it up, misses plenty but also manages to hurt tim a little and for me easily does enough to take the round
You dont get the point, show me where Manny landed 27 shots in that round. My point is biasedness, and just because the crowd roars that doesnt mean Manny did major damage, and just because he is the harder hitter that doesnt mean when he lands he hurts tim. Bottom line Tim carried the round Manny flurried to catch up, Tim finished nicely I gave the round to Tim on Pure Boxing, I am and always have been a fan of the aggressor but when that aggression is effective is when you can score it for the aggressor Tim had General Ringman ship, Defense, clean effective scoring blows (Maybe not heavy handed shots but they were effective in that it kept Manny from just walking through Tim) on the over all body of work in the round Tim did more than enough to win it in my eyes
Pac had more clear rounds BUT there were to many close ones in this bout, alot of partial lands, Pac likely did enough to edge it, but it was very close, it was sickening to Listen to HBO try to justify how Pac was dominant in the last rounds. 27-9 in favor of Pac was about as ridiculous as it gets.

I don't like looking at it this way. Just because Tim made pac miss doesn't mean he was the superior ring general, because Pac made tim miss just as much. They chose to go about their defense differently but defense is defense- to avoid getting hurt. I mean one can look at it one way and look at Tim's "pure boxing" that kept him away from Pac's aggression, or you can look at it the other way and say Tim wasted a lot of energy throwing many missed jabs and looked ineffective
Seriously everybody here knows that I favor the aggressor more than anything else as they take more risk in there, but I wont lie about this **** Mannys aggression was sloppy there was little effective aggression on his part. if anybody should be pointing fingers at anybody lets not point them to Tim, Lets not point them to Arum, Let not point them at the Judges, Manny Pacquiao by choice decided to fight in the last 30 seconds of many rounds, in other words he came with that bull**** fight plan and it did not convince the judges he only has himself and roach to blame for this Had he come to fight every min of every round as he always does we probably wouldnt be having this discussion right now.
Okay I actually did the work you lazy basterd. I'm scoring based one what I can see some things are so close and I'm making a call. The time is bassed on the youtube clock and not fight clock. If I mark it with a * it has a tough call. I had lands and misses in the different columns on my paper so I might be wrong on which came first at the same time recording it here. 0:23 Right Hook to head lands 0:24 Left Hook to body lands 0:44 Right Jab lands 0:45 Righ jab lands 0:45 Left Hook Misses 0:47 Right jab lands* 0:48 Hooking jab to the body lands 0:49 Left hook to the body blocked 0:52 Left uppercut lands* 0:53 Left hook misses 0:54 Right jab to the body lands 0:55 Left hook misses 1:04 Right Jab land 1:05 Left hook misses 1:15 left hook lands 1:17 Right hook lands 1:20 Right jab to the body lands 1:20 left hook to the head lands 1:20 right hook to the head lands 1:20 Left Uppercut misses 1:39 right jab lands 1:42 right jab misses 1:43 right jab to the head lands 1:43 left hook to the head misses 1:43 right uppercut misses 1:45 left cross misses 1:46 right jab to the head lands 1:46 left uppercut lands* 1:46 left cross misses* 1:50 right hook to the head lands 1:51 left hook the the head lands 1:51 left hook to the head lands 1:52 Right jab lands 1:53 right jab lands 1:53 left hook misses 1:53 right uppercut misses 1:54 Right hook to the head lands 1:56 Left Cross misses* (I swear this punch was a blur even on high-speed camera) 1:56 right hook lands* 1:56 overhand left misses 1:59 straight left misses 2:01 right hook misses 2:02 left hook to the head lands 2:06 right jab to head misses* 2:06 left uppercut misses 2:07 right jab misses 2:11 right jab misses* 2:12 straight left misses* 2:12 right jab misses 2:17 left left to head lands 2:19 right jab to head blocked 2:20 left hook to body lands 2:20 left hook to head lands (Bradly wobbled) 2:22 straight left to head lands 2:23 left hoot to head misses 2:24 right jab lands 2:24 straight left to body lands 2:25 left uppercut misses 2:25 right hook to body misses (your graphic shows) 2:35 right uppercut blocked 2:36 left hook to body blocked 2:38 left hook to head blocked 2:57 right jab to head lands Round ends Up until your compubox graphic Total punches 33/64
If the point you were trying to make was that compubox is deeply flawed then yes you've proved that but unfortunately it was something everybody who watches boxing regularly already knew. I was more interested in why you scored this round for bradley. I've now read your reasoning and will politely agree to disagree on the matter as I think bradleys jab was inaccurate and once pacquiao actually hit bradley this was the best work of the round and won a close round in which pacquiao had been lazy in the first half and bradley had been active but ineffective.
So where are all of these shots from Manny? Cus you have a total of 32 landed shots and thats from your view we are taking your word on this so if this is both guys with 32 landed shots combined your not going to tell me that Manny landed 27 of them
