What would you rather have one punch KO power or granite chin

I'd rather have a strong chin that can hold up under heavy fire. It wouldn't matter if I had 1 punch KO power or not. I'd try to pile up the points and break fighters down over the course of the bout. People with granite chins are just as revered as super big punchers. That's my take on it. I'd rather have the chin than the 1 punch pop.

What's the point in having a granite jaw if you can't win a round and you end up with brain damage due to the fact you can't get knocked out. I'd rather be KTFO but go out on my shield than take a 12 round sustainable beating to be called a "warrior" when in reality I had no hope in hell.

One punch KO power for sure, a granite chin will only result in brain damage for you at some point in your life.

 

As an addendum, it's worth noting that JASPER already established the fact that other attributes like stamina and speed were already possessed by the hypothetical fighter in question. So, for those who vote against granite jaw, bear in mind that this fighter isn't just mindlessly walking through punches all the time.

 

ive got heavy hands with good speed. more of a warrior in a street fight tho.

 

Granite chins make for gelatin brains.

 

Granite chin ALWAYS wins over devastating power. Look at David Lemiuex against Rubio. Or Lucian "Protected Man" Bute against Froch.

Some fighters are blessed and have BOTH. Like Mayweather (and if you disagree with that, then you don't know **** about boxing).

Either one is fine. As long as you have good enough defense, if your chinny you'll be hard to tag and if you lack the ko punch and your outgunned you'll still be hard to land cleanly on. Hit and don't get hit is the name of the game.

 

Anyone that would not want an Iron Chin is a fool especially with all other attributes but power being equal. An Iron Chin will always be in the fight to the end to win a Decision or get a late KO so there is always a chance at winning. Can't say the same for someone with a Glass Jaw. Chin > Power. Fact.
