From "Boxing Scene"...obtained the numbers for last Saturday's welterweight bout between Manny Pacquiao and Timothy Bradley, which took place at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

The controversial fight generated a live gate of $8,963,180, with 13,229 tickets sold. There were 2,070 unsold tickets and 925 comps given out.

Fight hype and other Outlets say around 800,000 ppv

800,000 is not par for Manny. He averages about 1,100,000 or just a bit above it.

Funny, Mayweather-Cotto had the quickest turnaround in history for PPV numbers being reported. So by now they should have been out.

He averages over a million if his opponent has a decent fanbase. Tim Bradley is on par with Joshua Clottey popularity wise. 800K PPV buys was my prediction before the fight.

Bradley is certainly above Clottey in terms of popularity. He's an American, and he's headlined cards on both Showtime and HBO. Not only that, but they had more time to promote this fight, and there was a 24/7.

thats horrible then. In comparison to Floyd, who has not done less than 1 million in 5 years.

800k is bad news for boxing when the number two draw that kinda numbers we should all be worried. For Christ sakes UFC and WWE kick that numbers ass almost every time out. Arum screwed over Manny BIG TIME this time around! Pick a weak second half for a dance partner, decided it was great to go against the NBA and NHL playoffs, not to mention the big soccer tourney that is going on in Europe (I am not even gonna mention the outcome.)

Arum is a smart guy usually but this whole event was a major FAIL!!

Kevin Iole's sources are saying it's looks like it will settle at low-mid 900Ks.

ok, arum wont release PPV Numbers because they are low or embarrassing...hes not smart enough to fudge a fake press release thats not even illegal, he would just have to lie..... but he pays off every judge, every fighter, commissions, people who give the drug tests, has cops on his payroll.... :rofl outsmarts the FBI every day at 80 years old...and somehow cant figure out a way to show a figure om ppv buys that exaggerated :rofl:rofl
every word is a lie out of his mouth...but he only tells the truth on PPV numbers..so he hides them
