in there against a lefty? Their first choice was Kirkland, and he said no because of his shoulder. The next guy up was Williams, who agreed, then got into a terrible motor cylce accident. They went back to Kirkland and he demanded $3M to fight with a bum shoulder. GBP balked, and now they've lined up Ortiz for him. Are they preparing him for possible fights against the likes of Lara or Martinez?

    Yeah dam good eye!

But i think its just for potential matches in the future, and they are not eyeing him up for any one person.

I had noticed that myself when they went to Kirkland after Williams.. I had not known of them going to Kirkland before Williams; Now that they got it with Ortiz I know it's something they were "going" for, and not just happened to be that way.

You know the other big name lefty.. but that would probably be less likely then Martinez and even less likely then Lara.

Maybe the rumors of GB getting Pac are true.

IMO its just luck how is it that trout Lara Martinez Ortiz p will all lefties it just luck to many lefties out right now... he shined well against a southpaw Rhodes and he has stated that lefties are no problem for him and it doesn't complicate his boxing at all... they were also looking at trout another lefty and I'm sure that fight is in the future before Lara gets a shot with his **** resume and no reward...

if GBP is going to be working with emmanuel in the future, I'm sure they would be interested in puttin emmanuel in with another Mexican.

It's a PPV show and those 3 are the most realistic names out there for a fight like that. Coincidence IMO

    Lara, K9, etc wouldn't sell ****.

They are waiting til Martinez is ripe for the picking. He was gassing early in the Macklin fight. They will drag him down to 154 when the time is right.

I dont know but Ortiz is naturally right handed and a southpaw and he hits as hard if not harder than Canelo. I havnt even seen Canelo fight vs a southpaw. Plus Ortiz is as big as Canelo on the day of the fight. And Ortiz has stepped up to a new weight class before vs an undefeated fighter and shined. So many risk factors here.

Also you can tell Ortiz doesnt like Canelo. There will be some bad blood going into this fight. I think Canelo is a mean dude, hes got a temper and i think will turn out to be a warrior in that ring. This fight has greatness written all over it. Amazing. And its 3 months away? Hope Ortiz isnt injured in the Lopez fight or badly cut.

The thread is about lefties Lara is a relevant lefty.. also funny you sneak in a little jab in which you thought it would offend me lol but ignore me in your own threads where I tko your ass with ease... nightmares? Canelo takes him out late tko anyways I am confident hell take out most and have his toughest fights with may cotto Martinez

For the record I really wish canelo could fight Lara but it's Lara's own fault... the fights he's getting are **** and he shouldn't settle... drod Molina ishida all ready to go but your boy fighting bums back to back after going 0-1-1 at his highest and leaving fans wondering where the so called power and beast is at..not to mention the stamina problems.
