    If the WBO overturns the ruling, it will be a bigger "black eye" to the sport than all bad decisions combined.

    Questionable decision in a CLOSE fight, it happens but rarely do you get robberies, this was NOT a robbery, far too many rounds were open to interpretation.

    Overturning the decisions would be like ripping the Lombardi trophy from the Giants because after reviewing the tape it was determined the refs missed a Pass interference call.

    You just don't do it. You admit the system might have it's flaws, and make promise to address them going forward.

    It would be a clear display of favoritism to one particular fighter. It would be a text-book example of the very "corruption" that has plagued the sport for decades.

    After ALL the bad calls I've seen in my day, for them to overturn THIS call simply because Manny is beloved by so many, it would destroy what little credibility sanctioning bodies have.

    I agree. All the other sports get this right. Remember that NBA judge who clearly gave away a couple of NBA playoff games? They didn't change those game outcomes. **** happens.

    Nobody really cares anyway, this is the W B O. An insignificant title Pac was gifted. The funny thing is Pac, his management and fans are whining for it like it actually means something.

    Agreed. Pac wrapped up the last three rounds and there were several rounds in which he was inactive for the first two minutes or more.

    It's funny that guys berate the SRL/Hagler decision saying SRL only fought the last 30 seconds of each round, but Pac essentially did the same thing.

    Don't ever oversimplify my statements again.

    Of course I would prefer the right call be made int he first place, that's not the point here. There have been "bad" calls throughout the history of the sport, and never has a judges scoring been overruled by a sanctioning body. To start now would be a blatant display of favoritism and pandering, the likes of which have no place in professional sports.

    Again admit there may be faults in the system, and address them going forward.
