According to www.sport1.de and some teletext pages, Klitschko-Charr is not a done deal!

"Heavyweight boxer Manuel Charr wants to sign Mike Tyson as his trainer, but the
aimed-at title fight against WBC champ Vitali Klitschko is, contrary to Charrs words, not a done deal.
"We are negotiating, but in some points we are miles away from agreements in all points",
    said Bönte, the Klitschkos manager.

Manuel Charr is "only one of four potential opponents", said Bönte, who explained the framework:
"The fight is going to be on September 1st or 8th. And definately in Europe!"
Bönte reckons that a contract will be signed in the next week.
Charr is ranked 7th by the WBC. Further potential opponents for Klitschko are Bermane Stiverne (no. 3)
    or Mariusz Wach (no.4).
    [...]
If Klitschko wins the election, he already announced his retirement. Charr on the contrary still wants to achieve a lot.
He won all of his 21 fights. When it comes to his potential trainer, he has a plan:
"I don't have a trainer, yet. I'm negotiating with Ulli Wegner and Mike Tyson!", he told "Kölner Express (newspaper)".
By the following weekend I know what Tyson's demands will be. Maybe he'll do it on a voluntary basis."
Source: sport1.de, I translated it and left out the political stuff etc.

I don't think that Iron Mike will do it. And Wegner is all wrong for Vitali's style..:think
Besides that, Charr would be a **** decision. And this comes from a Klitschko-fan.

When the K bro's fight there is no sense of urgency to watch thier fights. This is mainly due to the opponents they hand-pick. Sad.

Charr, Stiverne, and Wach? :!: Are these really the choices?

Retire, bro. :hi: Let Wlad reign in peace and stop cockblocking his legacy. (as you should have done years ago...but now that the well has run dry and there's literally nobody worth fighting...:deal)

Vitali doesn't have to retire for Wlad's sake -- what for?

Personally I'd rather see Vitali fight Wach or Stiverne than see Wlad fight anybody.

I like Wach and Stiverne at least has KO power.

    Charr? No.

    All three are equally unacceptable.

What does a little bit of KO power matter against Vitali with his Rubik's cube defense and iron chin????

I like watching Vitali fight and those (Wach, Stiverne) two would be more entertaining as opponents.

Have a little empathy for us Vitali fans who want to see his last fight.

if it ain't Haye or Povetkin there's no point for Vitali to stick around...even those don't mean much.......

Could be worse than Charr Wach or Stiverne, and let's not forget, David Haye is also in the mix should he arise victorious next month.

In the 90s, Vaughn Bean was considered a worthy challenger for both Holyfield and Moorer, and Lewis negotiated with his people more than once, as did Tysons. I dont know if Bean ever won a fight against a guy with a winning record, much less did he do anything to warrant consideration for a shot.

PPL complain about K2 LOC, but the fact is that there is not a Bean or a Mavrovic between them. Those guys would be akin to David Rodriguez or Malik Scott getting the shot having perfect(good records) vs guys not otherwise considered Clevel.:-(

Welliver is the unmentioned 4th. A win over Tank Williams in 13 days and he is in. The fight might be in China.

Vitali is considering to fight a guy who doesn't have a trainer? My God.

    Klitschko fight: Charr signs!
The duel between the champ, Vitali Klitschko and german heavyweight-hope Manuel Charr is almost perfect.
After weeks of negotiating, the 27 year old Charr signed the contract and said on his Facebook-page: "I am the happiest man on earth!"
The fight for the WBC-crown is about to take place on September 1st or 8th, in Kiew, there's only Klitschko's signature missing.
Charr, born in Beirut and recently naturalized, sent the first contract back to Klitschko management.
There were rumours that the 200000 Euro purse for Charr has been doubled, but Charr disclaims that.
"I can guarantee that it was not about the finances, but 1 or 2 other points that have been resolved", said the, in 21 fights still undefeated, "Diamond Boy".

Are you insane or just ignorant. Marovic will brutally walk down 99% of both Kbros opponents and kill them.

Holy****,, HE QUIT CUZ HE GOT CANCER. Lennox punched him so hard he got cancer, that's why he quit boxing.

If it wasn't for Lewis's cancer punch, Marovic will be Hall of Fame.

You obviously never watch Marovic. He will ****ing **** **** skull **** ass hole **** **** brutally beat the **** out of ****ing Corrie Sanders

and he will **** on Derek Chisora and eat his vagina alive...
