Roy Jones Jr vs Harry Greb

Jones destroys him, and anyone who thinks otherwise is a B&W era dick sucker.

 

Nobody has ever seen Greb fight, and anyone who can made a bogus claim like "Jones destroyes him" is off the mark. I will say that Greb fought literally everyone from 160 and above, and was never destroyed.

 

at 160, greb outlasts and outpressures him to a late round stoppage

at 168, not sure. i rate greb best all time p4p. i rate jones best all time at 168. tough call

 

How can you know? I've seen plenty of RJJ fights, I haven't seen any Harry Greb fights :huh

Jones would refuse the fight if it were to be fought with 6oz gloves.

 

Based on their respective records, I have to conclude that Greb would likley beat him.

If he didn't beat him first time, he would get the measure of him as the series progressed.

 

agreed, if jones comes in at 168 he takes the first fight. a prime greb figures him out, fouls and frustrates him in the rematch

in all fairness to roy, he did step into the ring at 40 yrs of age vs danny green who had loaded gloves. obviously the fight didn't turn out great for roy as he was trying to turn away from a big right hand. roy sued green and his people and the matter was settled out of court.
