Enough with the ****en controversy already...
****en social media has turned us all into a bunch of cackling bitches.

Just wear the 10oz & get this over with.
Lee's getting his ass handed to him regardless.

    This is about what's right.

This is the hurt business, and any fight can be your last, possibly do irreversible damage to people.

Weigh the gloves, or Lee should tell them to **** off.

Weigh the gloves or no fight! This is getting out of hand. The gloves may not be loaded but they may be lighter than 10oz. How is 'inspecting' the gloves going to help? WEIGH the gloves.

Spoken like a true fanboy. If you don't think somethings suspicious, your either a nut hugger of JCC JR or you know what's going on.

The future of the boxing Jessie Vargas is not taking any additional test so I doubt that Floyd is really that engaged in cleaning the sport. He wants just to protect himself.

Quick question: Is it not normal for gloves to weighed on fight night, as opposed to weigh-in night?

Here is a link to a small article I found on the subject.

    http://www.fightnews.com/Boxing/chavez-camp-rejects-lee-camp-request-118438

"Moments ago at the weigh-in for tomorrow’s WBC middleweight championship fight between Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. and top contender Andy Lee, representatives of Lee requested to weigh both camp’s gloves. That request was denied by Texas Commission Sports Inspector Robert Tapia. “They brought their own gloves and we brought ours,” explained Lee’s manager, Perry Mandera, “so we thought in the interest of full disclosure and a level playing field, we would weigh both pairs. We weighed ours out in the open in front of everyone. They would not put theirs on the scale. So, I requested Robert Tapia to make them do it. He told me ‘I’m the boss here. I say whether or not we inspect the gloves and we’re not going to.’” Mandera says he then requested Chavez trainer Freddy Roach to weigh the gloves in the spirit of fairness. “He pushed past me and said ‘we don’t have to, so we’re not going to.’”

Lee’s team issued this statement: “We just want everything fair. I don’t know why they wouldn’t drop the gloves on a scale to remove any doubt about a pair of gloves they brought themselves. Yes, it’s a new pair, but you ever buy a pair of shoes that say size 10 and they’re not? That’s all we were trying to resolve. So why won’t they weigh the gloves?”

What is Chavez Jr. and Roach afraid of, are they trying to sneek 8 oz. gloves past Lee's camp? Is Chavez and Roach really that afraid Lee will win without a unfair advantage?

Because we speak up when we see unfair advantages one way or the other?

Failed drug tests, failed to leave drug tests, and now refusing to weigh gloves.

What the **** do you want people to do? Gather around the kid and sing kumbaya?:rofl:lol:

the chances of chavez and company sneaking gloves past EMMANUEL STEWARD is slim and none.

this is one of the reasons someone bets on lee because of the presence of emmanuel steward.
