Are you even required to weigh gloves at the weigh in? Is that not something that's supposed to be done on fight night?

At least we both agree that they should be weighed.

It isn't THAT big a deal if there is nothing wrong....personally I'm not willing to give the benefit of the doubt to Chavez who has been caught cheating before. (albeit it Diuretics)

Pretty sure its at the weigh in.....

But either way they obviously have no intention of being fair weigh in or fight night.....

not hard to do. foam density varies. some foams are harder than others.

I'd also like to know what standard operating procedure is for weighing the gloves, before I start speculating about conspiracies and what not.

    Exactly.

Because if gloves are not mandatory to be weighed in on fighter weigh-in nights, then I can understand Chavez's lot saying "we don't have to do what you tell us".

Could be a whole fuss over nothing - especially of they're due to be weighed tomorrow anyway.

dont commissions get a bunch before hand that weigh the same then let the fighters choose. If they cannot agree the commission decides ??

I have seen that before a few times.

If cockRoach gives in and weighs the gloves 'in the spirit of fairness', then he has no excuse to refuse any other demands made in the same spirit, ie blood testing. More I hear things like this though, more I think he's a ****.

which is why they just slap their tag on a glove made for them.

there are several ways to manipulate a glove straight from the manufacturer and still have them be "within regulation."

the most i've seen done is physical inspection. they need to do more.
