I got Floyd....but if they somehow can manage to get this fight done by 2013 i say its still one hell of a scrap....ets face it neither is where they used to be but even now they are still top dogs.

I know some say Pac is slowing which more detrimental to him, i think this fight he gets up for and has that last hoorah.....

Still have Floyd he is just cut from another cloth when it comes to pure boxing and boxing IQ....he can adjust and do it all man...thats all to come by and hard to beat especialy when you have to overcome physical disadvantages.

Manny would have to be creative to keep landing his punches different ways. Left straight to the body, 1-2's upstairs, right hook to the body, uppercut before pivoting out, etc. All depends on the angle. It took Floyd until round 5 to start coming forward at Judah after repeatedly getting caught with his feet out of position.

    Mayweather domanated Cotto
Pacquiao did enough to beat Bradley.
Cotto despite being short for 154 has fit into the weight well.
Bradley was extending himself to 147

Even though Judah isn't nowhere near Pac's level, he did fought Floyd at a very controlled pace early on in fight. He played the counter-puncher role rather than initiated constant aggressive attack. Whereas against, Manny, It would be a total different fight. Floyd would know what to expect against Manny, constant pressure, and late rounds flurries in spurts.

I don't know how creative Manny would have to be, he hasn't shown me much versatility. Manny is still an explosive and dynamic puncher, but i just don't see him constantly lunging and throwing/landing the same effective punches, and Floyd not being able to figuring out the patterns.

  8. Floyd barely beat boxings washed up nomad, Cotto.
    Pac easy win.

Did timmy bother Pac at all?

    Did Cotto bother Gayweather?

Whoperformed better against Cotto? Pac or Gayweather?

Timmy fought avery controlled fight. He was reacting to even a feint, multiple times. Employed the JMM formula- I pac step forward, = 2 timmey steps backward, to the T.

Cotto fought him on the inside. Cotto has a great effective and unpredictable jab which forced Floyd to be out of his comfort zone. Manny is a faster, more explosive fighter than Cotto, but he's still a in-range/mid range fighter who only knows how to fight one way effectively.

    Care to elaborate dumbie?

    Is that how you refute.

Most *****s actually put up a semi-decent argument like "Bardley schooled pac, therefore Gayweather wins", or something outlandish and dumb. But at least they refute. You are just dumbie.

How in the hell that you joined in 2011 september and already have 6000 posts? You obviously are on welfare check.

He doesn't have to be more versatile than he has been, just use all the punches we've seen him use and get the angle. That should be his priority. Floyd might adjust to certain punches, but the question is whether or not he adjusts well enough to avoid and put forth enough offense to win the rounds. If Manny makes lead foot positioning his priority, it's trouble for Floyd imo. Mayweather could have benefited from using lateral movement many times, and simply isn't habituated to it. If Floyd starts pressuring, it would be interesting to see Manny play counter-puncher and try to walk him into something.
