Wasn't talking about negotiating leverage. It's still the case that Dawson is putting himself at a greater disadvantage to get the fight, and continually harping on him being the larger man glosses over the fact that he's taking on a greater deal of risk to get the fight made.
He is the bigger man. He wants to make money he has no choice but to go down and go to Wards area. He has the advantage of being the bigger man.
That only works out if you can make the weight healthy. The fight should have been at 175 but in the end, that's on Dawson. But if Ward wins, I could care less. It wouldn't be the same as fighting Dawson at 175, a proven healthy weight for him.
I agree, but that just how Dawson is, he has always wanted the best fights. It took him years to get Hopkins, I am sure they only way ward would fight him is to bring him down in weight and in Oakland.
Dawson say he can make the weight so does his nutritionist. I am sure Ward is worried about what you think
Oscar and his nutritionist said the same. He doesn't have to worry what I think. It will be on the record books he fought the LH Champion, Dawson, at 168. When was the last time Dawson fought at 168? 6 years ago.
