Your missing the point entirely . Neither Floyd nor Manny were able to create any PPV sales until they fought Oscar . If Oscar was in his prime today he would still be the cash cow. Oscar still has a massive impact on Floyds PPV numbers as he knows how to market the fight. Floyd wouldnt be anywhere near the name he is without Golden boy.
More people watch Pacquiao than any other fighter of this era. im not talking PPV i am talking people worldwide. Jmm IV could do 2 million with 5 months to promote.
are you really gonna compare ppv buy rates from the 1990s when the advertisment was " call your local cable provider and see if this is being offered in your area" most people had cable , hardly anyone had dishes back in the 1990s.....the simple fact you have the ability to show it to about 500 million more people in the last few years , kinda makes a difference.... atsch i paid 70 bucks for mayweather vs cotto in HD...the 18 oscar DLH fights you mentioned were 20 bucks. if mayweather fought in any other era such as the roy jones era, he would be a regular HBO fighter and if he were lucky tyson or holyfield would let him be on the undercard

Your too right it does Magic.And even though I firmly believe Manny should've got the nod last week,you wait and see how many idiots keep going on about Floyd trying to get out after 12 days when he makes his first announcement for his plans.I actually think Manny is best going after Marquez because him n Floyd are poles apart now.Despite their ages,I think Floyd has far more left in the tank than Manny,and it's better they just give up on a fight. Floyd should go after Canelo and maybe Martinez,although I have a horrible feeling that if negotiations go wrong,we could get a rushed Cotto rematch. This Floyd is arguably more exciting then ever. Losing a step in the ring as allowed fighters to actually touch him and he is arguably more hungry then ever for some reason.
