Seriously, atheists are the ones messing up this thread by posting such fanaticism. It sounds like some kind of fervent cult.

Anyway and seriously, will pray for Paul's recovery.

its a matter of point of view. You ***gots try to give credit to God for everything good and blame something else on the bad. It gets annoying and thats why we point it out.

Was in the car yesterday and Lenny Kravitz's "Stand" song was playing on the radio. Couldn't help but think of Paul Williams and his situation. Hope he can make a full recovery, even if it's a long shot.

  6. Why doesnt Paul fight Bradley for charity ? Wheelchair would have to be altered for Timothy so he can go backwards.

2 years testing on humans what has worked on rats in UCLA, 2 weeks paralyzed rats walking.
could be an amazing time for science and medicine. Paul should be hopeful because it is a matter of time for this medical breakthrough.
I sent Paul the article in my card.

There is a line between Religion, and a relationship with God that most people don't understand... Even some people who beleive in God.
If somebody were to read about Jesus in the bible the funny thing they'd notice is Jesus didn't hang out religious people really. Jesus hung around sinners, prostitutes, murderers, people with the lowest jobs (fishermen), etc. Know why? Because those that were overly "RELIGIOUS" couldn't accept him at the time.
Those that were religious back then had to uphold the law (the 10 commandments, as well as approx 600 other laws if you study it). Those that were religious BOASTED that they could uphold the law, which wasn't possible anyway.. Because if you broke one, you broke them all. Laws, and commandments were only instructed from God to prove to humans that THEY COULD NOT LIVE UP TO HIS EXPECTATION, and to rely on him.

SO, Jesus didn't die so we could have a religion, and for religious fanatics. He hung around sinners because those that were broken are like soft clay. Your able to form, and mold soft clay. You aren't able to mold frozen clay. Jesus died so you can have a personal relationship with God, and it doesn't matter if you got 1 dollar in your bank account, no bank acount, or 1 billion in your bank account.
The bible is very clear he wants FAITH IN HIM. Isn't it funny that the 2 biggest boxers in the world, whom make the most $ currently, BOTH (Mayweather and Pac) give God credit for there fights, and openly talk about faith in him. It isn't just boxing... If you watch enough TV you see a lot of winners, or people with a lot of influence represent God. God loves everybody equally, but the bible says he favors his children (much like you'd favor your own children). For those that are willing to speak for him to whomever on top of it, and not be ashamed, even in your imperfectness, it's amazing what he'll do in your life.
The bible STATES you will go through trials and tribulations! No use in worrying about it cuz you will go through problems, just like Paul Williams has going on. Some problems we bring on ourselves, some problems other people bring on us, some problems come from the devil, some things just happen. but it says those that are with him will have things like "peace that surpasses all understanding", "The joy of the lord", "HOPE". etc.

faith is good but what you really need is some noobie not moving your head around straight after the accident whilst they are 'trying to help you'. half the time thats what tears those nerves off, and then its end of story.

get well soon, really nice to hear that its worked out better for him and best wishes on the recovery ahead.

:good lmao, it's so easy to shoot holes through religious theory, and this example is one of the most obvious. If a benevolent being is indeed looking over us, he is at the very least showing favoritism, and in some instances down right sadistic.

The classic religious paradox. God gave us free will, but he also knows what is going to happen. So what is the point in praying? If everything is predetermined, then what is the point of free will.

If a man gets in car accident and lives then god was watching out for him, but his wife in the passenger seat is killed...? :huh

If a man lives after a battle with cancer then God was looking out for him. If another man dies after a battle with cancer then it was his time to go. You know God doesn't make mistakes, and everything happens for a reason. Plus, he's in a better place now...:huh

It's very confusing stuff. I prefer the church of Bill Maher, the church of "I don't know". God's existence can neither be proved or disproved, and I don't suppose any our mind's will be changed one way or the other, especially in a boxing forum.

But good luck to Paul Williams, ahh luck...
